Can we expect any reviews soon? I can't seem to find even one so far and was sure we had a couple by this time last year...
Will there be any reviews of MLB 11 before release?

yeah to be honest, sports games reviews are always hit and miss, most gaming sites seem to focus on the normal shooting action games, and most hardcore gamers i know mostly hate sports games.
the fact is from the impression thread, the demo, and the new features and videos, surely you know whether you are going to love it right?Comment

Hi, new guy here. In one of the reviews this was said about Road to the Show mode: "You simply come in to do your share, then the game simulates the rest". Never played The Show before as I just now bought a PS3 and I am really looking forward to it, but don't you have the option to see the entire game under the Game Watch and Game Completion modes like last year? Thanks.Comment

Re: Will there be any reviews of MLB 11 before release?
After reading over this forum frequently and playing the demo I can confidently say I could write a review for this game without playing it. My point being, the reviews are basically an impression of the game. They have deadlines to meet and can only spend a few hours with the game. You can tell just by reading them.Comment

I rarely read or care what reviewers say outside of friends here at OS.Joshua:
"D.O.D. pension files indicate current mailing as: Dr. Robert Hume,
a.k.a. Stephen W. Falken, 5 Tall Cedar Road, Goose Island, Oregon"

Here are two I have found this morning....

Crave was especially a good read and great closing comment.
In a nutshell, the best baseball game just got better. MLB 11 The Show improves on a number of key areas to the franchise, while also delivering plenty of new modes to build upon in future iterations. Like I said before, it's an incredible uphill battle to significantly improve on a sports video game year after year. Yet, Sony San Diego has made it look pretty damn easy. I think there’s only one thing left to say here: in the words of Joe Mauer... well played, Sony San Diego.โ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

I personally have my RTTS set to sim to every result play. So I dont have to watch every single pitch (I would if this was all that I played but this would take time away from my Franchise) but I also can't expect every ball to be hit at me when it simms to me in the field. It also gives me a chance to watch my teammates from the dugout and follow the flow of the game.Comment

Re: Will there be any reviews of MLB 11 before release?
Being a devoted 2009 Show player and passing on 2010 after playing that demo, I can truly say after playing the 2011 demo it is a clear jump not only visually, but the fact that I have the analog option at my disposal (will most likely use analog pitching in RTTS as I want to be a starting pitcher) and now the 30 broadcast view cameras. It is a no brainer.
This game will be in my player for a very long time along with 2K11.Now Playing on PS5:
NHL25 - Panthers YR1 (57-13-2)
CFB 25 - Alabama YR8
MLB The Show 24 - 1990 Blue Jays
MLB The Show 25 - 2025 Yankees Year 1 (19-18)

Yeah there are a ton of different ways you can play the show rather then just jump in do your part and then it sims the rest (classisc). If that was truly in a review then I feel bad for anyone that may accept anything in that review at face value.
