Great job with these, MK! I just played an outstanding game using your 1991-92 rosters. The New Jersey Nets (me) defeated the Atlanta Hawks 100-99.

It was a crazy game. I jumped out to an early 21-point lead, but Atlanta wouldn't go away and actually took an 8-point lead of its own in the 4th quarter before I rallied. My boy Petrovic was THE MAN, scoring 42 points.

        Here's some stats:

        Score: NJ 100, ATL 99
        Field Goals: NJ 32/68 (47%); ATL 44/95 (46%)
        3-Pointers: NJ 8/24 (33%); ATL 3/17 (17%)
        Free Throws: NJ 28/40 (70%); ATL 8/11 (72%)
        Assists: NJ 19; ATL 26
        Turnovers: NJ 12; ATL 5
Team Fouls: NJ 7; ATL 23
        Rebounds: NJ 42; ATL 47
Offensive Rebounds: NJ 4; ATL 10
        Steals: NJ 5; ATL 11
        Blocks: NJ 2; ATL 0
Points in Paint: NJ 28; ATL 44
Bench Points: NJ 24; ATL 25
Second Chance Points: NJ 2; ATL 12
Fast Break Points: NJ 5; ATL 10

        Individual Scorers
        NJ
        Drazen Petrovic 42 pts. (16-28; 7-16 3-pt.)
Derrick Coleman 20 pts., 14 reb.
Kenny Anderson 16 pts., 9 assists, 4 turnovers

        ATL
Dominique Wilkins 27 pts., 11 reb. (13-22 FG; missed GW 3 @ buzzer)
Stacey Augmon 16 pts., 5 reb., 5 assists
Ramueal Robinson 13 pts., 8 assists

          BroFist for Petrovic....

          A SHINING STAR

There was a star that shone real bright,

A star that shone all throught the night.

He was a star that played his best,

And put his talents to the test.

He was a leader for the Nets,

As determined as a person gets.

He played basketball with a great passion,

Shooting threes in his own famous fashion.

He always got the crow on their feet,

To cheer him on for a spectacular defeat.

He was a great player, there is no doubt,

He made us cheer, he made us shout.

He was filled with fierce enthusiasm and spirit,

Boy, he really let those refs hear it!

          He had an unforgettable personality,

          Paired with a sparkling vitality.

He entertained us until the end,

And to his teammates he was a friend.

We will always remember the man with the easy smile

          And stylish play.

          This man we called "Petro".

^ Thanks for sharing. That was a nice poem. Have you seen the ESPN 30 for 30 'Once Brothers'? That was an awesome documentary, but definitely very sad.

Petro became my favorite player after Magic Johnson retired, and those Nets teams he was on always have a special place in my heart.

            Tragic loss.

Croatia.org has an entire section of their site devoted to Drazen. Pretty quality. I was totally in the same boat as far as appreciating guys like Petro more when Magic had to retire.

Back to sliders.........I just finished an NBA Today matchup with these. One game in, they feel great! Nothing negative to note thus far, other than I lost.

              Here's the line.

yeah, this set with controler defense assit at 100 is nice for me. And tweaks to coach Karls profile. If youre good you don't need the assit.

I've just played what was quite possibly the most realistic NBA 2K game ever. Fantastic job. The stats are below.

                  Pistons (CPU) - Spurs (Me)

                  Points: 83 - 91

                  Field Goals: 37/83 - 36/68

                  Field Goal %: 44% - 52%

                  3 Pointers: 3/14 - 5/14

                  3 Pointer %: 21% - 35%

                  Free Throws: 6/10 - 14/18

                  Free Throw %: 60% - 77%

                  Assists: 21 - 15

                  Turnovers: 8 - 11

                  Team Fouls: 10 - 7

                  Total Rebounds: 41 - 34

                  Offensive Rebounds: 11 - 2

                  Steals: 7 - 7

                  Blocks: 1 - 6

                  Points in the Paint: 30 - 34

                  Bench Points: 33 - 11

                  Second Chance Points: 11 - 0

                  Fast Break Points: 0 - 4

                  Duncan: 12 - 20 FG / 27 points / 12 rebounds
                  Hill: 6 - 12 FG / 20 points
                  Jefferson: 6 - 11 FG / 17 points
                  Ginobili: 7 - 15 FG / 16 points

                  Stuckey: 10 - 16 FG / 25 points / 7 assists
                  Hamilton: 7 - 21 FG / 16 points
                  Gordon: 5 - 16 FG / 11 points
                  Villanueva: 5 - 12 FG / 11 points

Also, I only found it possible to win when I began to play the game as if it was real basketball. It appears impossible to win by just winging it and calling it a day.

                    Harsh,

What are your thoughts about the sliders using your and blazer's classic rosters? Do you think the sliders need some further tweaking for use with these? I use your pro sliders right now.

i'm still tweaking some... i'll post an update in a couple more days. not happy with some "trends" i'm seeing. i like all-star, but IMO there is a bit of a cpu cheat that takes place that i don't like. i'm playing with the CONTEST SHOT sliders... It seems there's something to that slider connected to FG%.

On the subject of cheating, the gameplay has been extremely realistic, but the CPU is really annoying sometimes.

For example, I was the Spurs playing against the Rockets and I managed to lead the entire game until the 4th quarter, when they suddenly turned into the 90s Bulls or something and had a crazy quarter. I grabbed only 5 defensive rebounds the entire quarter, and that's in spite of playing tough, in-your-face defense. =/ My players, on the other hand, started bricking wide open shots.

MK, I know you've been busy cranking out rosters, but curious if you've had a chance to make those slider changes yet? I'm still enjoying this base set. Good work.

Latest sliders posted on page 1 - post 1. I think I finally found them. If there are any glaring issues tweak to fit your needs. I can feel pretty confident in saying that this will be my "final" set.

                            Stats from latest game...

1988-1989 Heat (cpu) at Cavs (me)

Does anyone know if these sliders work for the My Player mode? Because I'm getting repeatedly thrashed by 20+ points by the timberwolves and I'm using the thunder. Gettings pretty sick of the fade away 3 pointers never missing, let alone any other shots
