How do you get a player from the vault into your roster?

Doesn't HAVE to be a generic player. As a test I replaced Alfonso Soriano.

Well, that's a given, but I figure if you are going to let people know how it works, we ought to give them all the details

I have a question regarding the player vault as well. Can we edit and upload an existing player? I edited all the cubs pitchers with the correct pitch types and if we can do this I may do other teams as well.

Nope. You can replace them, but you can't upload them. Can only upload non MLBPA players.

What happens to the guys (generic) once they are gone? Can you get them back? Or would you have to re-download an original SECA roster?

I downloaded Harper and used in an exhibition 1st AB 2 run 415 ft shot hugging the RF foul pole, my 1st HR as well, felt real good

You have to save the roster. If you save your edited roster over the top of the SCEA update, then yes, you would have to download it again. If you save it as something else, then no.

Are all of the players in the vault created by us gamers? I downloaded Randy Johnson and Don Mattingly just for kicks and they look like a SCEA-created player! They look perfect.

If I were to start a franchise with the Yankees today, and Jesus Montero is added to an official scea update, could I import him into my franchise from the player vault replacing one of the fake guys?

                          Thanks

So do Ruth, and Gehrig. Plus they are all locked so you can't edit. Somethings up.

EDIT: I made a post about it too.

Maybe, but I doubt it. Since he will be an SCEA creation, I doubt you can upload him.
