MLB 2K11 Roster Adjustments, Ratings and Accessories - MLB 2K Insider Will Check In

MLB 2K Insider will be popping in, from time to time, to check out this thread.

Please list all roster adjustments, player ratings and accessories that need to be corrected or added into MLB 2K11.

List only what is mentioned, other posts will be deleted.

3-14-11 - *UPDATE from MLB 2K Insider: I should have mentioned, remember guys... This is only relavant to players that are part of the MLBPA. Meaning if they haven't played a game in the bigs in the last year, they are not part of the MLBPA and will not have a player in the game until they do. SO guys like Harper and Tsuyoshi Nishioka, gonna have to wait.

For a player to appear in game, he must….
    A) Played in 2010 (and not retired or playing in Japan at time of approvals)
    B) Did not play in 2010, but was on the Major League team’s DL the entire season (the Chien-Ming Wangs of the world)
Note: Sometimes even if they played in 2010, they did not sign join the MLBPA (Brandon Beachy)

If they were in the minors all year, they’re no longer considered to have a major league contract as far as the Player Union is concerned.
Once they appear in a game, we send them off and have them approved. Sometimes it takes a while if the player hasn’t signed his paperwork with the Player’s Union.
This applies to coaches as well for the most part (which is why Eric Wedge is not in the game yet).

Also, “placeholder” are not allowed for players who have not played in the majors.

    With uniforms….
Can’t change hats, jerseys, pants, belts, or socks.
Can change helmet colors (not logos), undershirts, accessories, and shoes.
Can turn on/off names and numbers

    Portraits…
    Can’t change portraits.
    Can’t update hats on portraits.

    Faces…
Can assign a different generic head
Can’t change the skin tone of the existing head.

    Stances…
Can’t replace “owner” animations (if they animation is named after the player). Odd case where they can, but I can’t.

Jonathan Sanchez needs a split change instead of circle change. Does that belong here?

I couldn't find Bartolo Colon anywhere in the game. Could end up not being a big deal, but he is competing for a spot in the yankees rotation at the moment, so you'd think he'd be in there.

Not sure if this is a ratings thing, but you can't really tell the difference between players when they are running the bases. I just had CC Sabathia beat out 2 SAC bunts for hits.

Base Runner Speed Slider is set to DEFAULT 50

          Thanks

Ryan Raburm isn't a natural OF but he has a cannon for an arm. That needs fixing please.

Garret Jones and Matt Diaz platoon in right with Overbay at 1st.

McCutchen hits 3rd with Tabata leading off.

This is already reflected in the latest update.

Raburn was moved from 2B to the outfield due to his arm. He does have a strong arm.

Sleeves can only be team color? Is this on purpose?

As far as I can tell, Tsuyoshi Nishioka is missing from the Twins roster.

Phil Hughes 5th pitch should be a changeup, not a slider

The option to change the fielding camera in offline as well!
A coach shares all the same highs, lows, victorys and defeats as the players. He just ends up fatter and balder.

Dynamic crowds and variable attendance! ( Is this the right thread for that? )
