I haven't bought the PSP version, but since you're still awaiting a reply, I thought I'd summarize what i've read from others.

There are some minor animation improvements and the menus look better.

There are no analog controls, no realistic scoreboards, no rain and still no umpires.

There is no Infrastructure so no Online games or roster updates through SportsConnect, however I remember reading that SCEA will be putting updates online...
