    Re-Claiming Canada: A Vancouver Canucks Franchise

    Author's Note:

    {My Own Perspective of the Vancouver Canucks}

    Now... there was no way for me to continue or even start my other Ottawa franchise. I'm a big fan of playing with good teams and playing in the playoffs. Don't get me wrong... I like playing with lower-tier teams and working them back up to the top. It's a challenge, but the frustration was too much for me continue. So I decided to pick the best team in the game and try my luck with them.

    People may not like it, but I don't care. I wanna have fun when I'm playing NHL 11 and when I played with Ottawa, I wasn't having fun. Playing with Vancouver is fun. Very fun. But the main reason I picked them was because of the big ole' ZERO next to Stanley Cups.

    I mean, there's a lot of talent on this team and I want to take advantage of it and get to the Stanley Cup Finals. Hopefully Chicago isn't in my way, haha. I'm a big fan of the Sedin brothers and of course everybody's favorite American, Ryan Kesler. Their young, and mainly... I want to win a Stanley Cup in this game (yeah, sadly I haven't yet).

    So, yeah... hopefully this works out and maybe I can actually post a game maybe, haha.

    Good luck. I'm in the same boat as you looking for a team to use. I want to use a good team for once. As a kings fan It would feel wrong to wish you luck in winning a cup for Vancouver. So I will say good luck in every series not against the Kings.

      Well good luck here. Any idea what your plans for hodgson are?

      Nice starting with players you know will get the job done.

        Starting with a good team is different, but awesome too.

            I thought the same thing and took the Caps, and it was a fun ride to Lord Stanley's Cup (Interest how both teams are such powerhouses but neither have a cup to thier name). Good luck here and don't repeat a 93/94. ha-ha

              UPDATE: Hey guys, I just wanted to update this and keep here at the top because right now I'm transfering the music pack which someone created in the Sounds forum, so I can use them in my franchise. Heard it really adds to the realism, so I wanna do it, haha. Anyway, I'm not going to post any game updates right now, but I do plan on posting the first game tomorrow. So stay tuned.

                      Nice having a solid line upbto count on. High skill up front and on the blueline nice mix of size and speed all backed up by a top 5 goalie.

                      Goodluck with the season
