bcruise,a real longshot, but is you CPU pitcher stamina lowered from default?

I wonder if the computer adds virtual pitches to the pitch count to compensate for the less stamina?? Again this is WAY out in left field thinking.

If the sliders are on default it would blow this random guess out of the water

No one else has lost the in-game commentary?

Out of no where, Matt V and the guys disappeared. I've tried uninstalling everything and re-installing to no avail. Tried with the first update/patch and without. It's all just gone.

Played my first game on 3-8-11 and everything was perfect.

Played a home run derby on 3-9-11 and then went to an exhibition game and their was no commentary. Every game attempt since has been the same.

Yeah...I was playing all default sliders. Nice idea though

don't want anyone to think i don't LOVE this game, though. have to work in the morning and just stayed up to play opening day AGAIN against the cubbies. tied 3-3 in the 7th it went all the way to the 19th inning, still tied 3-3. i pinch-hit my last position player (Josh Fields) that inning, Doumit hit a solo homerun, and Hanrahan (the last relief pitcher left... so i played everyone available) came in to get the save in the bottom of that inning to end it. CLASSIC!!!

Had this weird glitch where a ball that was like five rows deep into the stands magically warped into Vernon Wells' glove. Hopefully they can look into this. Not sure how often it happens.

....also not sure if it's been said yet, but there's a glitch in playing practice mode with the pitcher. If you select the "sim game" mode, some times when you're pitching from the stretch the pitcher will go off the mode and never come back to it. You can't pause and quit, you have to go back to the dashboard. Anyone experience this?

From the angle of your video it's kind of hard to tell where the ball really is. Also, could it be the wind brought it back?

I had a very funny glitch happen just now. After I chose my pitch and was in the set position, the ump bent down but was facing one of the dugouts, not even looking in the direction of home plate. Didn't really bug me, but I found it kind of funny.

my only problem is freezing at the menus when i use my Xbar. It is annoying. I think it may be related to update v1.08 since that also affects the startup screen with the SD home plate. So for now i will not download the update and wait for the next patch.

For those of you that have experienced the bug in which the runner @ 1B gets a free base when caught off the bag during a back pick, I know that there wasn't a balk or a walk issued, but could I get some additional info if possible:

Was it from a pitch out? Does it appear that the runner was going to attempt a steal? What was the count? How many outs? A video?

                    PM me, please.

There was a sudden 65 MPH gust of wind?

This and the balls going through the walls for inside the park home runs are all related. There's an issue in e collision data that's messing with how the balls and wall react to one another.

It's happening a ton, but thanks to these forums SCEA is made aware of it.

i get the "pitcher warm" glitch EVERY game. my son asked me what inning it was and couldn't remember if it was at the time and i couldn't remember if it was the 7th or 8th, since the count and inning are being obscured due to the "pitcher warm" graphic.

here's a funny one... i'm warming up my relief pitcher and the catcher appeals down to first on a low, outside slider and Matt says "yes, he went around!" haha.

also... when u use the "pitcher" viewpoint for pitching... i'm not sure, but does the "cold" and "warm" areas for the batter reverse themselves or stay the same? if u look at the previous pitch locations, their locations are correct according to the viewpoint, but i'm not sure the cold and warm (blue and red squares) appear mirrored to the default view, as they should. i noticed this in mlb 10 the show as well. it's not so much a glitch, as just maybe an oversight by the developers. the opposite viewpoint of default should result in an mirrored graphic, dontcha think? picky, i know, but if the previous pitch location mirrors, so should the cold / warm graphic, i think, since both are projected on the same screen.

If its the same one im having you can just press pause to get rid of the "pitcher warm" and it should be back to normal..(showing the inning, score, and so forth)....
