Thank you so much for sharing that.

I would have never seen it on my own.

Good read. Just shows what a wonderful game the Show has been to people of different backgrounds! Who knows Alissa Milano might be doing the same thing with the Show!

Shameless plug: I'll be trying to do something similar to find conversions between the stats and the rating attributes; check out my progress in the roster forum in the next few weeks if you are curious and have feedback. Hoping to put my OCD to good use!

          Very much actually.
All the numbers I use as my "base" numbers were directly taken from simming...simming...simming and comparing to players in the game. League Leaders....the team statistics page.....
From '06(the second '06) to '08...I would write down pages and pages of statistics----->ratings....ratings------->statistics and trying to decipher why one 80 contact guy hit .300 and the other 80 contact guy hit .270....power numbers in relation to HR's and 2B's...played off contact...vice versa.
After years of doing it....I was actually able to throw away the sheets and just look at a guys numbers and play them off each other.
But it all boiled down to what this guy says in his article.

Now...that being said....we had an ESPN guy on this site...who did rosters and he and I actually had a little head to head (not the good kind). I won't get into details...but I wonder if it's the same guy. I don't think he'd have kind words to say about me if it is.

Re: Taking an Inside Look at MLB The Show (ESPN)

This could be a fun summer project for me. I'm thinking of taking the MLB Network's '30 Teams in 30 Days' lineups of the best single-season performances at each position for each team and then beefing all of the teams up to 25 players (since they only list 9 or 10).
