How does the computer sign players with no cap room???
I understand the mid level exception. But in year 4 or 5, especially when john wall's class become restricted free agents, most computer teams will have no cap room. Normally around -12 mill. And they will be 20 good free agents and the computer teams will wait til the last day of free agency and then sign the players even if they do not have any cap room. Why does this happen??

Re: How does the computer sign players with no cap room???
i simulated ahead like 10 seasons, and after a while, a couple 90+ overall's were in the FA pool because every single team was over the cap, and when i offered the FA's the MLE in the preseason, they accepted it because they wanted to play i guess. I was messing around, so i didnt save it, but i ended up signing a player who should have got a max contract for 6 years at MLE level.
It made me worried about getting farther in, because it looks like every team will be in salary cap hell. Who care's about the luxury tax when it isn't real money i guess lol -

It's possible the players fall under the Larry Bird Exception, or better known as "Bird Years".Comment

Just use some of the later rosters with potential edits. That keep everyone from getting too high of ratings. With those high ratings comes the salary expectations. My Player. 99 ovr 6'5 SG Miami drafted #2 rd 2
