Josh Hamilton Arms Tattoos??

Why didnt SECA put Hamiltons tattoos in the game!? I've noticed other players don't have there tattoos either but also some do like Prince Fielder Neck tattoo!
This would be a very nice touch!!

I read somewhere that Josh asked to not have them show in any video game. I wish I could remember where, but I know I did.

From what I understand, unlike the heads and neck, the arms models are shared between all the players. Therefore they cannot add unique characteristics to one player's arm such as a tattoo.

I didn't think there were ANY tattoos in the game but I was just playing and saw that Jon Rauch from the Jays has 2 tattoos on his neck.

If my memory serves me correct, I'm pretty sure for the most part the MLB kinda frowns upon tattoos. I know many teams make guys cover up their ink with sleeves and what not. Prob just a PR image thing...but I would love to see my man Jose Reyes' sleeves in the game to be honest. Either way, this game is siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!

Yes, ONLY neck/face tattoos are in, because (as someone stated above) the arms are used for everyone.

Prince Fielder has a couple awesome tattoos in the game (on his neck) - check it out!!! -and Carl Crawford has a small one on his neck.

..but check out Fielder's...it's cool!!!

Former Rangers Play-by-Play man Josh Lewin did say once that he didn't want tatoos on any reproduction of him (video games, action figures). He said he thought about removing them, but then said something like they are a reminder and a lesson for others.

Yeah, they have never had them in the game. I wish that the show would be like 2k because they have all of the players tatoos done well.

They included Felix's new diamond studded earrings, so whatever, I'm a happy camper.
Even though I think 2 or 3 guys in the mariners bullpen have full-on "tat sleeves", which I think kind of defines them in a way.
Sucks those couldn't be included, but again, whatever.

If you are referring to the basketball. Well that is a 5 on 5 sport on a small court.

More memory to afford such luxuries. Maybe we will get tattoos on the PS4.

Ya but there are plenty of tattoos in the bigs game so that doesnt make sense to me. I also remember reading an interview with Josh Hamilton about how he hates his tattoos and didn't want his virtual self to have them. I think it's funny because I have almost an identical tattoo of flames on my arm that he does and I hate it too. Unlike me though he can afford to get them removed.

The level of detail between the two games though is stark, and all the memory usage in all the stadium details, etc.

Not debating whether he likes his tattoos or not. Just giving an explanation as to what was explained with memory limitations.
