And that's all the graphics? Stadiums looks nice and the gameplay
is smooth. And I agree the play models are awful but that's not all the graphics. And they r just built weird. It looks arcadish.CFB: Ohio State, FSU

Re: First NCAA Football 12 Screenshot, Dreads Are Back - What Else Can You Spot?
I want to hear about size and strength having more of an impact, as well as making QB play a little more realistic. The "roll and chuck" still plagues this game. I'm getting sick of QB's rolling all the way to the right and throwing rainbows across their body to a back in the flat running towards the left. When will the folks at Tiburon punish gamers for throwing without having the QB set his feet first. QBs throw on the run, but no as deep, and accurate, as they do frequently in this game.
The screen looks wonderful, but I need to see, or read, more to get excited.Comment

Re: First NCAA Football 12 Screenshot, Dreads Are Back - What Else Can You Spot?
It's funny how the argument to focus on gameplay and not graphics gets brought up every year. Honestly I want both, who wants to look at the same game as last year and it just play different? Or vice versa. I want both so EA keep spending money on both. I just wish EA would focus on the right things for gameplay.
The biggest problem right now is defense is not fun when it is the best side of the ball to play in real life. It's lacking the intensity on the defensive side of the ball without that defense will never be fun. But to be fair, this is kind of hard to put in when the feeling of playing defense in real life football is so unique, or watching it as well. I mean I'm not the brains in video games so I don't really know what they could do for defense (except I do know zone is broken) and making it more fun. It would be nice to have more control over defenses and being able to disguise more. To me right now a sack and interception or big hit is boring in video games, and its the complete opposite in real life even watching of course.

God I miss our special NCAA forum,I used to like reading posts like these but you have to wade through 4 pages of crap to actually get to a semi-coherent thought.
If you do not like NCAA, go Somewhere else. I am not talking about the people who actually critique the game, I just have a problem with the people who come on this forum for 2 months out of the year just to bash NCAA and EA. WE get it, You do not like EA or NCAA, GET OVER IT.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

- #52 is actually still attempting to make a play on the ball after being juked..Great addition.
- Uniform getting dirty
- Depth of field improvement
- Facial animation improvement
- 3d grass
- Improved head tracking
- improved foot-planting
- Reduced clipping
- Improved cut animations
- Shed block improvement #99
- Suction block improvement (normally #55 would warp to #22 to block)
- Deceleration improvement (locomotion) #55
- BC cradles the ball higher to avoid the strip? Looks that way.
-BC looks like he pushing the defenders arm down to avoid being grabbed on to. NICE (if thats the case)Comment

I can't help but be excited. It will be different when we see it in motion, but for now I am excited. That image looks like a tremendous upgrade IMO.Writer for Operation Sports

Re: First NCAA Football 12 Screenshot, Dreads Are Back - What Else Can You Spot?
Do you see the flawed logic here?Simple answer - what is the alternative since EA basically bought the football market?
With that said, I purchased and played NCAA 2011 for a handful of games. The gameplay was abhorrent and took no significant strides since two years ago. I took it to the store and traded it in on NHL (EAs only game that seems to actually try to be better year after year).
I do not plan to purchase 2012 until a month after the season. Let the "OH NEAT DREADZ!" people to filter out.
You buy the game simply because there's no alternative, even though you think the gameplay has been "abhorrent" in recent years.
Sounds like a waste of money to me.
Regardless of whether or not I'm a fan of the sport if I thought the gameplay was terrible I wouldn't purchase it.Comment

Let's not say that Backbreaker didn't look good. It didn't look real, but it was no graphical slouch.Rose City 'Til I Die

Well about thirty minutes till all the guessing is over and in about forty minutes later you see 4-5 guys banned.lol
I'm still interested to see what comes. I'm still under the impression that this is the year for the football games to get physics every other sports game for EA has along with the EA non sport titles.Comment
