Re: NCAA with ps3 move or Kinect?

I think the only part of football it would work for would be field-goal kicking. Because that's the only part where action is so boxed-in and it's just about repeating the mechanics of a certain motion. But, of course, who wants to pretend to be a kicker? And who is actually limber enough to repeat FG motions over and over again without straining something in their legs?

Maybe certain practice drills, stretches or exercises. But that's no fun.

I don't know how the technology works, but if these motion things actually track the whole body (and not just the controller or whatever you're holding), it'd be cool if the game let you act out your own animations.

I know people expect more along the lines of being able to incorporate the motion-sensing stuff into actual gameplay, but what if you could use the Kinect to teach the game your own custom animations? Personalized celebrations for touchdowns or first downs or sacks? Wouldn't help gameplay at all, but I bet lots of people would eat it up with a spoon if they could create their own custom TD dance.
