This. How can you have the NFL license and have the actual FOOTBALL right?
In addition to the multi hit tackles and a 100 more animations that actualy show up in game play. From the WR and DB to the line interactions all the way to the QB drop back. It all has to improve.

They can't get it any smaller. They reduced it 2 yrs ago as small as they can.

Ian said it would mess with some animations or something similar to that.

A more refined version of NHL 11 real time physics engine.

Don't look for it. They said in a podcast several months ago that physics is still a few years away.

They said something about it just being too many funky looking things that could happen on a football field if they didn't get it right first.

So, sorry......no physics.

They probably don't enough time, but the animations aren't anything to hoot and holler about. They need to redo a good 90% of them, in my opinion, anyway. That being said, I doubt they have the time, and I can live with the ball being too big.

I can't live without consecutive, and double, hit tackling.

That is something we are in agreement on.

Remember, I asked that question in the first podcast and you said they gave a vague answer.

Of course, they did, but hopefully they couldn't say much back then and now have worked on it since then.

The biggest myth about Madden 11 is that "consecutive tackling" doesn't exist.

It DOES exist (even in Madden 10). It simply isn't activated enough because Pro-Tak is prioritized in close-quarters.

So this teaser will probably show you exactly what you want - a guy getting pummeled twice consecutively just like they do in every teaser (since it's easy to isolate animations in those conditions). But we won't know if it's actually prevalent until a gameplay demo arises.

this is the second straight year i'm meh about the new madden. i remember when i used to be so excited for it. we'll see what the trailer has to offer tho. maybe some fixed bugs? improved off-line franchise mode? i hope so!
