It better be good. This has been the worst buildup to a Wrestlemania I have ever seen.

It sure has, man. Even though the event itself wasn't that great, the buildup to last year's WM was fantastic.

You had the Streak vs. Career with HBK and Taker
You had the Cena/Batista feud over the WWE title
You had the Edge/Jericho feud over the WHC
Also the Punk/Rey feud had a sweet buildup
The awesome program with Triple H and Sheamus
The Legacy breakup and Orton face turn
        The return of Bret Hart
The MitB match for the guys not in feuds...

This year's buildup has been lame as hell in comparison.

I wasn't crazy about Batista/Cena at all, and the Jericho/Edge buildup could have been better, but man.....what the hell. It's like they're not even trying. Like the expect the Rock to sell PPVs. Partly why I'm not crazy about him being involved as much. Lazy.

I thought Batista was solid gold during that whole feud actually.

There's a reason he was called Blahtista. I couldn't get behind anything the guy did. Just a total wash for me. He was better definitely, but still so horribly uninteresting to me.

              Different strokes, I guess.

I'll be in the house tonight!! I've been wanting them to hold off on the Rock-Cena(-Miz) face to face until Chicago and they didn't disappoint!. I'm expecting a lot of Cena and Miz heat and much love for the Rock from the crowd. My girl and I will both be decked out in Miz gear (thanks to WWE's 50% off sale) cheering the Miz. I'll cheer the Rock or Cena if they "win me over" on the mic (which they've both done at certain points during this "feud"). So excited!!

We also have the Trips-Taker face-to face. [Sarcasm]Finally... they get to say the same promos they have been saying for weeks to one another's faces!! How exciting! [/sarcasm].

I've known the main event for some time, but will put it in spoiler tags obviously. Click at your own risk.

I absolutely loved heel Batista. He was awesome as the bully/primadonna hybrid character they gave him. He was VERY underrated. He had been boring and stale for so long, that a lot pf people had residual hate from his old "character" and never really gave him a chance. I thought he was brilliant with the new direction.

Cole/Lawler has had a great build, everything else, not so much.

I almost didn't post that, because I didn't want to temper your excitement. Sounds like a nice match, though, so that'll be fun. I'm sure you'll enjoy tonight!

I just hope for a decent show.

The fact that Lawler vs Cole has been the most hyped, well built feud tells you all you need to know about this build up to WM.

                          So very, very lame.

I dunno. I like the Miz-Cena build-up a lot. I think the addition of the Rock adds rather than takes away from the feud (Since Miz-Cena has been done before). People say Miz is a third wheel in his own feud, but that's because he's not on the level of Rock and Cena... yet. But believe he is getting a rub from all of this and it will only help him. He is not getting buried by the other two at all.

The Miz has been fueled by the fact that he is where he is despite the fact that no one ever believed in him. He loves rubbing it in to the crowd how great he is as his gimmick is one big fat "I told you so!". Still, it eats him up that he is STILL getting overlooked by John Cena who is too busy having a Hollywood war of words with an ex-wrestler not involved in their match. He is equally upset that the Rock is overlooking him as well. This has motivated the Miz to use the distraction to get over on Cena each week. The Miz has looked stronger, and more cunning (which is hard to do when opposite Super-Cena), and John hasn't looked too weak as he has been "distracted".

Through this all, we have had entertaining promos from all three. I think it was well done.

As mentioned, Lawler-Cole has been built up spectacularly.

Triple H-Taker has been the worst booked IMO and it's not even close.

Second place goes to Punk vs. Orton. I like Punk bringing up their history and talking about getting his revenge (as if in his mind he's the hero of the story). However, ever since then, he has been booked horribly and has not backed up any of his claims really.

Rhodes-Rey has been GREAT and is not getting the proper respect it deserves here. The buildup to this has been months in the making with Cody's injury, the gimmick change, the Dusty swerve, and Cody busting in Rey's face with his own kneebrace. Overall, a GREAT buildup for an under-card feud.

I feel like I've def seen worse. The Cena/Miz buildup with the Rock has been nice to watch since it's something so different. I feel like I'm seeing The Miz grow before my eyes. If they wanted to send Miz soaring to superstar status they'd have him come out of this the winner(although I doubt the will).

Maybe the difference this year is there are a whole bunch of matches I'm actually looking forward to. Usually theres only 2 or 3 I really wanna see.
