Re: Skipping Spring Training and Rosters
It's not that simple, I read in the OSFM recruiting post the additional steps but I'm mind blanking right now.

Re: Skipping Spring Training and Rosters
Ok, I found this from Knight in the recruiting post when someone asked the same question:
If you're going to control just one team...you're kind of at the mercy of the CPU for the other teams.
If you control all 30 teams....you could do it one of three ways.
All three would require you to have lineups/rotations on MANUAL
1. Wait until Spring Training is over and redo all the lineups rotations....
2. PRE-franchise cut the 40 man rosters to the 25 man MLB rosters....wait until the first day of the regular season and then add the other 15 players for each team
3. Last day of Spring Training....move the 15 players not on the MLB roster down to the minors...
More work to be done! lolComment

Each step requires you to do it for each team, if I'm reading that right.Comment

Re: Skipping Spring Training and Rosters
Here's what I'm doing...
Use HustlinOwl's modified roster (OSFM) that has just the 25 opening-day players listed on the 40-man roster. This means there are 15 spots empty for the 40-man roster for players that will start in the minor leagues.
Start your franchise and sim to the regular season. You should still have your lineups in tact. You can set all 29-other teams (if using 30-team control) to auto and it should still work.
Once you get to the regular season go through each team and add the 15 minor league players that are supposed to be on the 40-man roster onto the 40-man roster.
I hope this doesn't sound confusing but I think this is the best way to make sure everything stays accurate.
I don't mind if the CPU makes changes after the season starts, but on opening day I want things 100% accurate.Comment
