I'm not sure about Minor's status either. That stuff always confuses me.

Anyway, CBSSports had an article about the Braves look this year. I love how every time someone writes anything about us, it's always "Brave New World"....

I could be wrong. It might not be free agency, it might just be stalling his arbitration clock. I know I read something regarding this exact situation the other day. I don't remember where it was though.

Opening day tomorrow! Unfortunately I had asked for Thursday/Friday off so I could watch all the openers...it was denied and I'll be working. At least I'll have the DVR to back me up. Let's get a win to open this thing up!

It didn't take Heyward long to make his presence know. That's 2-for-2 on opening day homers.

A lot of good stuff today. A Heyward homer, two hits by Chipper and B-Mac while Venters and Kimbrel looked great.

All of the pitchers looked great today. Lowe looks like he's still in playoff push form from last year, Moylan has finally figured out the change up, and the Venters/Kimbrel combo looks very promising to say the least.

My only concern for now would be McLouth. Hopefully Fredi doesn't let him rot away in the 2-hole for too long.

Nice Opening Day win by the Bravos today. Good to see Heyward's Homerun and see the pitching staff look great. But other then that, the offense was pretty dead today.
