    Too easy to steal?

I tried searching but haven't found anything on this subject...
I'm playing on all-star and have played about 30 games.
Every time I steal with a decent runner (75% or over) I beat the throws by a mile!
I haven't had a single close play- and just wondering if there's a setting I'm missing. I've tweaked all obvious sliders - but wondering if I'm missing something else...
    Is it my difficulty setting?
Even Carl Crawford should get thrown out once in a while.
Any thoughts or help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Try raising base stealing ability. Sounds crazy but after the advice from Bobhead and Nomo's research I tried it and it works. Anywhere between 7-8 should be good.

Interesting. I can't steal to save my life. Everytime you take a lead they throw over, and about 25% of the time it's a pickoff. Certainly not finding it to be too easy.

The computer can steal quite easily, however.

I found last year very unrealistic, my team was at about 46% about 1/3 of the way through the season (most teams should be 60-80%, at least). I could not steal well unless I took an extra lead, and would get picked off constantly.

Pickoffs are much better now, and my steal rate seems about right. I have been thrown out, but I have Crawford, Ellsbury, Pedroia, etc., so I have been running a lot. I don't have the % off-hand, but I find it MUCH improved over last year, where it was almost impossible to steal with any frequency.

I'm getting realistic rates with the Red Sox (All Star - default sliders). Through ***** Crawford is about 14-16, Ellsbury is about 12-18, Cameron has a pair, and Pedroia has one and a pickoff. They're on pace for A LOT of stolen bases if they keep up that pace but I'm also a little too aggressive and pretty much go no matter what if I see a few fastballs in a row. They're so fast that even a perfectly execute pitchout may not get the job done.
