I play RTTS so I'm not sure what Franchise offers but I can see some advantages to playing short seasons like playing out careers to see how they do or to see how many titles a franchise can win.

I used to play a board game with 30 game seasons and it was fun to compare the stat leaders throughout the years. I remember 30 games would give an everyday batter about 100-120 at bats.

No I play the full 162 games, and I do not sim any of them.

14 is BS, i think there shouldn't be any less than 81 games. I always go for the real amount and sim what you don't want to play.

dont like simming plus 14 you can play multiple seasons

I can usually play 2 or 3 seasons before the next years game is out.

no, but i play the 29(ish) game season, but 7 innings long. 9 just takes way too long to complete 1 game.
