Feedback is pretty accurate and has been for a while.

88 or so and above - expect a very good, clean game
80-88 - expect a largely clean game, but with a few oddities, like bunny hops thrown in
79 and below - expect a cheesefest

It was this way before the HEX editor and it's still that way now. Maybe the cheese is more powerful now, but the experience was much the same.
