Can't take a little rivalry ribbing? Son, I have been following baseball probably since before you were born. And if you think Braden is one of the A's best pitchers, you obviously don't know the A's that well. Cahill and Anderson are the most talented, with Gio trying to push his way into that mix. Indeed, the A's had the league's best ERA last year. Felix is a stud and super star, no doubt about it, but Oswalt is on the decline. Together, they make a pretty damn good 1-2 punch, but to say the best in the league, and then the best in baseball, well that is a pretty bold claim and purely subjective at best. Better than Halladay and Lee? Carpenter and Wainwright? Linecum and Cain? C.C. and.....ok bad example. Questions like these are subjective at best. In real life, I wouldn't look forward to the A's having to face King Felix and Roy Oswalt on a regular basis, nor that youngster Pineda.
