Yeah, Madden has to find a happy medium. It was nice to miss kicks in APF, but it was too difficult to make them. Rewarding no doubt, but too hard. My opinion for what it's worth...

No matter how awkward their bodies looked in that trailer, you felt the atmosphere by the look of the game. It looked amazing. In many instances we've gone beyond that trailer in terms of body portions and movement etc, but in just pure eye candy and atmopshere, that trailer is still miles above how Madden to this day looks now.Comment

The APF system was good if you had a silver or gold rated kicker, the generics made it too hard. I think it would work if they just tightened the rating part of it up a bit.Comment

People see what they want to see.
It looks like a simple Tiger Woods like meter to me with the wind below it. I guess the old Madden meter was the same thing, 3 click with the accuracy 'green bar' at the bottomLast edited by Garrett67; 04-14-2011, 12:17 PM.Gamertags

Man, EA's lighting is just never right IMO. The field should never be that dark in sections compared to the sunshine on the field....even if the sun is going down/rising. The stadiums do have stadium lights, and you never ever get that feeling IMO.
Now if EA let the field get slightly dark like this, and then stadium lights kicked on and brightened the entire field...that would be kick butt. As is, I just don't like it. It doesn't feel real playing a entire game in that lighting.
Either give us progressive lighting, or make it either a sun game, or a night game. Playing a entire game like this has never been fun for me.Last edited by wheelman990; 04-14-2011, 12:24 PM.Comment

Madden has it's gameplay issues, but referring to that CGI trailer as a benchmark is daft.

I'm in favour of a more analog kicking approach to the game, but why don't the developers leave it as an option to the user for what they prefer? If you want button based kicking, you have the option. Otherwise you can use analog based kicking. Both have their preference of pros and perhaps cons so which ever the user prefers would appease both camps.Last edited by Joborule; 04-14-2011, 12:57 PM.Apply to Become an EA SPORTS Game Changer here: About EA SPORTS Game Changers

That pic is pretty bad. Coupled with the thread title, "what can you see?"
reminds me of sitting in a psychiatrist's office looking at a picture of an ink spot and saying "I see birds and clouds"........
Not that I've ever been....Comment
