I remember for sure they are fake. But I'm sure some are close to real one. If some of you can identify similarities with existing ones (minors or spring trsining), here the list:

    Wagonman stadium
    Blue River*stadium
    Laughing Mountain Park
    Center City Field
    Red Rock*stadium
    Franco Park
    Main Street Field
    Majestic Green*stadium
    Riverboat Field
    Green Valley*stadium
    J.M. Field
    Highland Park
    Stomp Ground Field
    Barnes Canyon Ballpark
    Shippet Stadium

    Minors New in MLB 11
    All American Park
    Oak Street Park
    The Porch
    Primo Yards

    Spring in MLB10-11
    Baseball City, FL
    Palm Frond Park
    Turbine*stadium
    River County Stadium
    Flagstone Field
    Mackenzi Field
    Sunsito Stadium
    Date Palm Field
    American Greens Stadium
    Moonstone Park

Re: SIAP: Are any of the minor league stadiums real?

Do people care that acronyms are, in general, to be used only if strong knowledge of subject matter is present?

      We know what TV means.

      What does SIAP mean?

This is becoming the laziest society in the history of the world (seriously)!

"The Porch" is almost identical to Citi Field.

          Hmm, that would be "TPiAItCF".

TPiAItCF = SIAP ...well, it has the capital P and A, but in the wrong order. No, that cannot be it.

SIAP?!? Hmm, could it be "Severed Irreplaceable Artery Puncture?" That would be bad if so!

No; baseball, not medical...okay, putting on the thinking cap...

SIAP = "Saturday Initiative Against Pitching!" Hey, I like that one!!!

          Um, no!

SIAP = "Same Intent as Post?" Hmm, again, what does that have to do with baseball.

Okay, last call. I am going with SIAP = "Stolen (bases?), Intentional (walks?...well, okay, I am stretching here, big time), Assists (with no parenthetical assistance) and Plate (appearances?)."

THAT'S IT!!! It must be, because I ran out of energy...pinkish-gray matter needs rest!

Disclaimer- the above statements were made for comedic purposes...please take them as such (well, except the part about a severed artery being serious; that is a tough one!!!) and understand that I just do not comprehend the logic of using an acronym when MOST (or many) people who read it will have no clue what-so-ever about what is being talked about. Once stated (Knights of the Old Republic is awesome. KotOR is the best Star Wars game by BioWare), it is completely understandable...but do people really think that the world understands their acronyms constantly?

It is like that commercial of the guy getting beer who says LOL and "smiley-face" to the lady attendant. If you think about the context of it, that is so true how completely unfitting those things are in conversations. Ahhhh, I lose sleep every night over SIAP. I mean, if the guy has a severed artery, maybe we should call 911?

Ps- I made myself laugh writing this, so I guess it was worth it.

Post Ps- I am sorry, in advance!

Thanks for adding to the topic of the thread... It's message board acronyms, people on message boards know what they mean. You are on a message board, therefore you should probably get to know them.

As for the minor league parks, it looks like they are all fake. I didn't know that until I started doing some research for this post though, they all look like they could be real to me.

IGS, I've never heard of SIAP before.

I like the ballparks in the desert.

All the minors are indeed made up, but I don't blame them for not wanting to pay more for real minors stadiums.

PS- Thanks, KNIGHT, for explaining what that does mean. I had no clue (though that asia institute was one I had asuspicion on).

It was my pleasure to add to this thread (I really did laugh a lot writing that).

I was serious that I wasn't trying to be a pain, but I was trying to be funny asking what the H**L SIAP is supposed to mean. Message board or not (which is an extremely lame excuse), excluding people from conversational dialogue for no reason other than laziness is, well...very lazy!

I have finished my roster, and now am playing Spring Training (though I'll only play some, simulate the rest). I just wish there were more to choose from, so each team could have their own. Oh well. I do not mind, as I will only see them a few times each.

Riverboat Stadium is similar to AT&T Stadium in Chattanooga. The surroundings around the stadium match up the the surroundings in Chattanooga around the stadium but the seating at the staduim differs from the real park

ok since they have both the MLB logo and the MILB logo's on their game on one of the load screens you would THINK that they would be able to USE the REAL minor league stadiums. if you have the rights to the league why would you NOT use the proper stadiums.

Just my .02. and in my opinion some uncommon common sense!!!

Stadiums are not included in the MILB license. The MILB license only includes team names, uniforms, and logos.
