You can set anything to Auto. You could set both profiles to Auto, and give the Game AI total control if you wanted. I wouldn't do it until we get the second patch, though, if at all.

WOW how many times last year and so far this year has the solution to changed line ups been addressed.

You have to download the roster and remove 15 players from the 40 man roster for every team before you start the season. Before Spring Training Ends.

Once game 1 starts all teams must have only 25 on the 40 man. If you do that then the cpu will not change line ups

But you can add the 15 to the 40 man after the season starts for each team but you CANNOT put cpu control for none user teams if you do then they will jumble the line ups. You must control the line ups for all teams at all times unless

You do not add the 15 players back to the 40 man.

This is incorrect.

Your intentions are correct, however your verbiage is not.

You DO NOT have to REMOVE 15 players from the 40 MAN ROSTERS. You DO however have to CUT DOWN the MLB SQUAD to 25 PLAYERS.

This is a substantial difference, and I think it's where a lot of the confusion is coming from for newer franchise players.

Why would anyone think that I am saying to remove them from the team. The 40 man has to be at 25 which is the 25 on the MLB roster. The mlb roster is already at 25 for all teams but the game jumbles the line ups if you go into the season with 40 man roster/ The 40 man has to be only 25 which are on the MLB squad/

It cannot be more simple then that. If somebody took it like I mean to remove 15 from the team then that is just silly.

You can then add them back to the 40 man once the season gets underway

Go to manage roster and scroll to the right. There is a column for LEAGUE (MLB / AAA / AA / A) and a column for 40-MAN (yes / no).

You need to cut the column for LEAGUE down to 25 people for the MLB roster. (During Spring Training there are 40 men at the MLB level. This is a big difference.)

The 40-MAN roster can remain up to 40 players. At all times.

However, if you are using Hustlin's roster, then yes, the MLB squad is 25 men. However this is a 'workaround', serving to expedite the manual roster / Franchise start process but does have a few drawbacks.
