BTW, would anyone think Jordan would be good to put on the team? I think he's excellent at the fast break personally...

All-Fastbreak Team
I am looking to assemble a team that is going to be the greatest fastbreaking team in history, maybe one that averages around 120 a game....just fishing for some ideas of players to put on. Prefer to have 2 players per position, plus 2 or 3 "scrubs" that can come in if needed. These players can be from current teams, or from any of the classic teams....any ideas??

Re: All-Fastbreak Team
I've been attempting to assemble such a team in my association and let me tell you, John Wall is the perfect place to start.
Wesley Johnson has been working well at the 2 guard and Javale McGee is a good young mobile center for the fast break.

Oj Mayo is a sick player in the fast-break too...so fast, and hes not too bad at moving the ball in transition eitherComment

I'd use JaVale McGee as a center. Alley-oops on the fast break all day!Purdue Boilermakers
Washington Redskins
Washington Wizards
Washington Capitals

Re: All-Fastbreak Team
Fast Break should consist of finishers and shooters... I see people in here just posting dunkers..
Fast Break wouldn't be as nice without having a shooter to kick it out to at times so here's my list
PG: Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, John Wall
SG: Dwyane Wade, J.R. Smith, Eric Gordon, Demar Derozan
SF: Lebron James, Rudy Gay, Nicolas Batum,
PF: Lamar Odom, Blake Griffin, Thaddeus young
C: Amare Stoudamire, Dwight Howard, Javale McgeePre-NBA 2k12 V3.0 (360)

Re: All-Fastbreak Team
Here is what I have come up with, when looking at all time players, not just current players. What do you think?
PG-Magic Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Steve Nash
SG-Michael Jordan, Clyde Drexler, Monta Ellis
SF-LeBron James, Julius Erving
PF-Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, Blake Griffin
C-David Robinson, JaVale McGee, Bill Walton (for his outlet passing)
Any more suggestions?Comment

Re: All-Fastbreak Team
You should go with Rodrigue Beaubois as your back up point guard. I average about 3-5 3s a game with him, most of them transition 3s.
Here's what I would pick. The wing positions are completely up to you because those are the positions with the most options.
PG - Your favorite point guard here/Rodrigue Beaubois
PF - Kevin Love
C - Blake Griffin/Javale McGee
Love can rebound and outlet. Whenever McGee gets a block that can usually ignite a fast break because the other team can't recover fast enough.
I strongly suggest Terrence Williams for one of your wings because he's really versatile. He can defend, throw it down, knock down a jump shot, and I have played him at 4 positions and he works out great for me.
Courtney Lee is pretty good but I'm sure there are a lot of better options than Courtney Lee. I always have him beating the defense on the break and he is a pretty good finisher.Last edited by giordun; 04-24-2011, 04:08 PM.Comment

Re: All-Fastbreak Team
i like to hit the 3 in transition, so i'll add ray allen and chauncey billups. there might be faster guys that can shoot the long ball just as well, but i like those two guys.My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10
3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.Comment
