NCAA Football 12 Announcement Sizzle Trailer

Things are looking up. I haven't seen this much positive feedback about an EA video or blog as long as I can remember.

Looks interesting (the graphics look great), but I don't know why they keep pushing these team entrances as a huge selling point. Do they really add much to the game? I tend to watch them once or twice then skip them after that. They're the same thing every time.

Have you been reading anything here at OS?

They are "starting" with presentation and gameplay info which actually starts on Thursday. This is JUST a sizzle trailer.

There is PLENTY of other info coming on NCAA 12 in coming weeks.

looking at this a bit more those two tackles near the end of the video are so ugly. The tackler gets motion shifted so badly its noticeable at full speed.

I did not notice it the first time so much because I was amazed at the other stuff, but if you go back and look at it you will see.

I am praying that is not final production.

Pray that you won't be blinded by the beauty as I have been. lol. I'm back down to earth now, but when I watched it the first 15 times, I was amazed. That feeling is starting to wear off now after a few more times. I slowed it down and whoaaa!

Regardless of what we want to speculate about gameplay, what intro's and celebrations got in, we all have to admit that these screenshots looks AMAZING.

if you go to the gamestop info for the game it says it has it so im assuming that it will be in

Call me jaded, but I'll wait for the actual presentation to be displayed. These are just game intros that will probably be skipped after you've seen them 5-6 times. I will be looking to see how EA integrates these game intros with the dialogue and cutscenes - which will be seen much more per game. And these are the very presentation elements that have barely been upgraded for almost a decade. If EA can finally get the commentators to the "other companies" level (NBA game), I will be the first to give EA a high-five.

Not trying to come across as complaning. The video is amazing and every other team's entrances and traditions look great. It is just dissapointing when your team gets messed up. Maybe they do touch that sign and I don't know about it. I doubt EA would just put it in without a reason. I just kind of have a feeling that them running through the "T" won't be in the game either because there is no entrances with the bands that have been shown so far. Maybe I'm wrong about all this and I hope I am. Regardless, the actual gameplay looks amazing. This has the makings of the best football game ever

they dont per-se. but in the tunnel that leads onto the field there is a T about 10 yards from the mouth of the tunnel to some guys touch or slap but its nothing like the sign in the shape of the state in the locker room above the exit that everybody slaps that says "I will give my all for Tennessee today" im not holding my breath....lol

They look awesome and I can't wait to see some team celebrations after TDs.

I have one gripe: that dang helmet with the ridge is back!!!

Gotta love you guys for breaking down a 90-second (maybe it's a little longer) trailer. I thought the video did a great job for what the title says ... it brought the sizzle. I'm more excited about the game today than I was yesterday, and that's 100% due to the video I watched today.

There will be plenty of time to break down gameplay when we actually some in-game footage and play the demo, but right now isn't the time for all of that. EA just wanted to whet our appetites for NCAA 12 and I'm certainly hungry for more information.

Two things:

1. No Sooner Schooner? And no Tusk at Arkansas?

2. HEAD COACHES LOOK TO BE IN!

They are not going to cram every single intro in the Sizzle Trailer.

Who knows what they have kept up their sleeves?

- We may see the Tiger in a cage at Baton Rouge on a Saturday Night.
- The war eagle in Jordan-Hare
- Mullins at Ole Miss
- A new "running down The Hill" in Death Valley.

Oh, the possibilities!

My hype meter is at about a 20 on a scale of 10 right now. PUMPED!!

those that say who cares about entrances you skip them after the 5th time anyway, speak for yourself. I never skip the entrances because they give the feel that you are about to watch a college football game.

At the end of the day, this trailer served it's purpose. And that was to hype the game and get everybody and their mama talking about it.

Mission accomplished.

I am not too worried about not seeing a certain team intro in this trailer, trailer was only 90 seconds long, can only show so many teams intros in that time span. Plus they sprinkled in some game play and band footage as well.
