Didnt he have more votes than drew brees?

He led brady by 40k with 2 weeks to go (probably as marketing kicked in full gear as the total number of votes nearly doubled).

Vick is simply very popular. Sure, there are reverse jinx votes and whatnot in this poll, but to think that's a meaningful number is silly (outside of the Charles/MJD 50%/50% matchup). Most are surely just voting for who they want on the cover.

Don't care much for the Pro Bowl I vote sometimes but, I didn't think he'd beat out Manning even though he's not in AFC.

Maurice Jones-Drew would have been nice on the cover although he wouldn't win. Still can't believe he got beat by Jamaal Charles especially with how widely popular he is although I can see how Charles could get the best of him. I think the better franchise(Chief fans) got the best of MJD.

The fact that some of you people wouldn't buy the BEST football gaming franchise on the planet period due to a certain somebody possibly being on the cover is beyond me...Its YOUR loss if you ask me. Mike Vick has more than paid his debt to society and is STILL paying his debt to society for the acts he committed. The guy had a phenomenal year, may have been his best year passing the ball. Peyton Hillis is the truth don't get me wrong. I'm just tired of hearing about people kicking this guy while he's down. Get over it. I'm pre-ordering my madden as soon as the opportunity presents itself. May the best man win the madden cover!
