Re: MLB 2K11 My Player and Franchise Impressions
In my second game of spring training using my Braves franchise, Dan Uggla slid into second and hurt his back. He is out 35+ days.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 My Player and Franchise Impressions
Personally, I would like to see something in all sports games that gives you the option to automatically give someone 3 days off or something if it is minor or have them play through it. Something that is set up under 'coaching settings' or something.Comment

the rates of injuries are ridiculous... at least one in 5 times I slide, a player comes up lame, whether its a minor injury or a serious one... I lost 3 starting pitchers through 15 games in my franchise (braves) without once going over the PC cap. Also lost 4 position players in that span... all of of slides. I love the game, but with the injuries and fatigue, it makes it unbearable at times.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 My Player and Franchise Impressions
I have not yet picked up the game, but I've read about the fatigue issue.
Does this issue affect simmed games in addition to played games? In other words, if I sim 5 games, will the CPU utilize the bench and bullpen correctly, or do I have to micromanage that stuff on a game by game basis?
If the simmed games actually rest players, then starting a franchise before the patch drops seems workable; if not, it sounds like it'd be rather tedious to check every single game to see who needs to be rested.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 My Player and Franchise Impressions
was submitted to MS/Sony end of last week. usually it takes 10 days or so to get approved. Probably the middle, middle end of next week. You do what you want in your association, don't let others ruin the fun. Just because other people say it's cheap doesn't mean you have to let it affect your association, just have fun - Evan_OSComment

Is 30-team control necessary this year to prevent screwy roster management issues, or do you think you can get by without it?Comment

All I have to say:
mid-way through Spring Training - Ryan Howard out for 2 months.
Opening day - Roy Halladay out for 4-6 months
2nd week - Cliff Lee out for 2-4 months.
Meanwhile: Still in week 2 - Ibanez out for 6 weeks, and Victorino also out for 2-3 weeks.
I thought I'd enjoy my great pitching staff... only to find out I'll get more games in with Kendrick, Bonine and Worley than with Halladay and Lee. Hoping for better times, I cannot even imagine who's heading to the DL next... maybe Utley? Polanco? or Rollins?Comment
