Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
Awesome, the ability to copy saves should be an intrinsic right, you should never be denied the ability to copy and backup YOUR saves.Comment

Re: Franchise Copying Ability Has Returned
Hell yea, here is my 30 team franchise based off bama fans pitch edits and I have moved those on DL on MLB, so will return and not sit in minor's.

Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
Does anyone know if it's possible to create multiple saves with this file?
Other than with a flashdrive I mean.
Is their any workaround I'm unaware of? I'd hate to bank my entire franchise on ONE save file. If it corrupts, I'm done.Comment

no problems for me so farComment

Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
Of course not. It's YOUR file.
The issue is, when loading a file created by someone else, the game only allows you to create one save with it. And, that save has to overwrite the original franchise file.
Is their any way around this? I'd like to create several, incase one corrupts on me.Comment

Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
Can't you just copy it to another PS3 user on your system?Comment

Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
I've tried downloading and transferring via flash drive a few times, and I still can't get the PS3 to read the memory card. I've done this before and it worked fine. I downloaded the file, unzipped in Windows 7, moved the folder over to the flash drive, where I created a PS3 folder and then a SAVEDATA folder. I put the four unzipped files in the SAVEDATA folder and plugged in the flash drive to the PS3, but no luck. Yes, the flash is FAT32 formatted also. Anything I missed/not doing correctly?Comment

Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
What do you mean? I mean, could that help? I know how to do that, but I can't see how that would allow me multiple saves. Maybe it would.
Here's the exact issue, in case I was vague before:
I take a franchise file created by someone else and place it on my flashdrive.
I copy that file onto my PS3.
Load franchise.
I immediately get a message stating something to the effect: "This save file has been created by another user. All saves will only over-write the existing save file. Trophies have been disabled." Not verbatim, but to the point.
I save.
It AUTO SAVES over the original franchise file (even with auto save off).
I can only save over one file. I cannot have any backup files. If this one file happened to corrupt, my franchise would be done.
This scares me, regardless of being able to backup via flashdrive.
Any suggestions?Comment

Re: Franchise Copy Ability Has Returned
Hustlin,
So this is a franchise file with no injured players and the lineups/rotations are correct and stick? What is the 25/40 man situation on these so the linueps dont get jumbled?
Just want to make sure what I am using.
Thanks.Comment
