Awful way to lose perfect game! Video inside

    Bronson Arroyo goes for a line of: 9 IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 7K.

The video below shows the only hit I allowed. A really ugly single to Jason Heyward leading off the 8th.

The funny thing is that I meant to give Votto the rest of the game off after he ended the top of the 8th with a pop-up, but I forgot. I wonder if Miguel Cairo would have made the play?

Miguel Cairo would have made that play. I am certain of it! There is no doubt in my mind! In fact, if you would have subbed him in, I am certain you would be posting "My perfect game!!!" LOL, just kidding! What terrible luck! Great game!

Not as bad as how I lost a perfect game in the 9th in RTTS. Leadoff batter drag bunt and I go to field it. As I was about to grab the ball, the 1B runs into me and we both go down. Infield single....

Ouch... I dunno Cairo might have gotten it. But I wouldn't have made the switch. Whenever I have a no hitter going I don't make defensive changes unless I need to. Afraid to throw off the aura of the game I guess would be the best way to put it.

Ozzie Guillen and DeWayne Wise beg to differ!
