The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
I know a lot of us hardcore football fans will claim we know Peyton Hillis (and most people here do), but really, he's even kinda unknown for a lot of NFL fans - much less the casual fan. This is gonna be fun to watch.

At least it will make him and the Browns more known next year.
I enjoyed his play all year.
But honestly I forgot his first name when I was explaining the MAdden Cover Vote

Yeah, I hear that. First time I ever heard of the guy was when I took up the Denver Broncos in a '10 online franchise. Got used to using him as a fullback and eventually ended up giving him as many touches as Knowshon Moreno (because he was actually rated around the same speed as him .
It'd more-or-less be a capstone for all the work Vick has done to rehabilitate himself, his character, and his name since he was found guilty of his crimes.
Contrary to popular belief, the justice system exists not to damn those guilty of criminal acts forever, but to teach those found guilty of crimes the wrong of their actions and to offer them rehabilitation and the ability to eventually once again conform with the expectations of our society. With regard to Vick's crimes, people seem to forget that.
Vick obviously broke the law and what he did was indefensible, but he's served his time and has done a hell of a lot of work to get back to where he is today.
Sorry but avoiding tacklers does not mean he deserves the cover of a game and I am glad people were smart enough to do that. You and I cannot say if he is a different man today then he was 5 years ago. Damage control is a beautiful thing and talking about it is not the same as being about it

I would argue he quite obviously is, actually. That said, I'm obviously not going to change any stubborn opinions about Vick, he's a hot-button issue, so I'll just have peace in mine.
I'm just wondering how EA is gonna screw up the cover now. Hillis looks good on the Madden cover(judging from a few fan made covers) so hopefully they'll do him some justice.

I agree with Hillis not in the top 20. But if Vick is, what the hell happened in this vote. The more popular guy won???
Could be on the fervor of the two teams' respective fan bases with regard to the two players. I still get a sense that even some Eagles' fans haven't fully accepted Vick based on his past, whereas Hillis is probably one of the most popular players on the Browns.
