It's just silly. It doesn't make me mad, I'm not "hatin'", it's just dumb and silly. It's a joke. Being on that cover was something you earned. Being a pretty-good player for one season wasn't enough.
In this voting competition for the Madden cover he was more popular.

Outside of that it's not even close.
