Wow this looks like the best Madden yet as far as presentation wise. There is a video coming titled "Experience the Sights and Sounds of Sunday" or something like that listed on the site.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - First Look at Presentation
I'm really really trying guys but it's very hard for me to be excited when the one thing we've been asking about for 6 years now still has not been put in the game.
Why is it so difficult to put a halftime show in the game with commentary talking about the highlights? Seriously? Can someone please tell me why?Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Presentation
Yeah that second blog got me excited too. What's up with EA lately selling that short blog as their big presentation blog as their announced big blog when they already have a much more detailed blog out? Are the marketing guys on vacation?Comment

Jmurphy31 that was great, someone should post this for people to see, Eli manning with his stats while taking the field look great, and the fact there actually goingg to name the player before they run out is great. "Your quarterback, from Kansas State, number five, Josh Freeman!"This was posted yesterday and it give a bunch more detail than today's blogs about presentation

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - First Look at Presentation
"Madden NFL 12 also brings you a customized EA SPORTS television broadcast style. What I mean by that, is that banners, overlays, and stats are presented very similarly to what you'd expect to see on a true television broadcast, but EA SPORTS has tweaked that and made it something very original."
I have been very pumped (surprisingly) about everything that I have heard this morning. Everything that is, except for the above. This has me very troubled.
They have made great strides from what I have heard, but it seems old habits die hard. There is NO reason to put your own spin on broadcast (ego perhaps?). Just DO broadcast.
It's not rocket science."You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling."Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - First Look at Presentation
NCAA has fully embraced ESPN, what is stopping Madden from doing the same? It doesn't have to be ESPN, could be NFL Network, CBS, FOX, any number of places that the NFL is broadcast."Madden NFL 12 also brings you a customized EA SPORTS television broadcast style. Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - First Look at Presentation
what is so hard too put a pre, half and post-game show in the game that 6years ago was implemented. Madden11 presentation was lame even with there stat overlays and banners. We have been asking for this for 6 years, and all they concentrating on is Team intros and cheerleaders, which should have been in the game 6 years ago....please. What about true NFL sunday stats, overlays and halftime show that we see every sunday. This is ridiculous and since they have the exclusive rights too the NFL, they just taking there time with it. Even allpro2K8 had a halftime show and decent stats overlays and wasn't even a NFL game. Its the in-game stats and presentation that matters, not the team intro, mascots and cheerleaders which is nice. Give us presentation that surpass NFL2k5, its long overdue EA.Comment

EA is partnered with the NFL Network and ESPN and neither network wants EA to use the others brand in broadcasting.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - First Look at Presentation
I'm still very skeptical. The pregame stuff sounds great, but there's only so many times you see that before it gets old, especially since there's only 32 teams as opposed to the 100 or so w/ NCAA.
In game stuff still leaves me w/ questions. When EA says they put 'their own spin' on something it usually doesn't turn out too well, at least IMO. What's wrong w/ just presenting real stat overlays exactly the way the real broadcasts do it? Why does EA have to 'make it original'? Hate to go back to the cliche, but just give us what we see on Sunday.
I don't want this all to be window dressing, but as of now I'm still not sold on that being the case.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Presentation
wait a minute ...what about dirty uniforms? wtf? surely they wouldn't put field and helmet degradation and leave the uniforms perfect. that would be dumb.My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10
3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.Comment
