All this stuff sounds GREAT, but as others have said, I need to see it. I don't want to get my hopes up, but Madden sounds OFFICIAL this year. Let me keep my hype meter at a minimum though.

The unique running styles will definitely help add to Superstar mode. 2k's myplayer comes to mind, and tht has gotten my attention most of the year especially with the endless amount of sig styles.

With Madden i could make a a 6'3 power running back with akward running style just for fun, or any combo, I hope they continue to build on this foundation of styles. It keeps you immersed and it you can seperate yourself from every other created player.

This is at least the 3rd freaking time I'm using the applause emoticon for Madden. What the bleep is going on lol?! This Armageddon or what?

Seriously though, the info that they have put out has been like a dream come true. I just hope that I won't awaken to my usual nightmare once the game is really shown or played.

Small nitpick. In the blog he says that suction and warping that happened over the last few years was really bugging them. Yeah... suction and warping has been in the game since Genesis. The console, not in the biblical sense lol. Where have they been?

I want to stay positive but they keep trying to pull me back into the negative zone lol. Sometimes I think the gamers know more about their game than they do.

Show me the actual footage. Forget the pictures and the blogs. EA said the stuff behind the teasers would be unveiled. You mean to tell me I watched and waited 4 days to get a blog. Talk is cheap! Some me the action!

MEH. looks like marketing stepped their game up this year.

come on guys...we've seen this movie before.

they've always known what to SAY...doing it on the other hand....New Collision System? we'll see. one of the biggest issues has always been lack of kill-shot tackles and big hits and the fact that the super hits don't separate/dislodge the ball enough. you can throw the ball over the short/deep middle with impunity and receivers catch the ball and get tackled like they're playing flag football.

i'll reserve my judgement for when i see a Qb forced into a bailout throw into the flat or with a safety in position to unload. if i see the same old powder puff tackles where the receiver ALWAYS holds on? it's the same old Madden.

If somebody gets laid out and the ball flies 20 yards away from the collision, THEN i'll get excited.

hmmmm...they're DESPERATE for approval from the hardcore market. keep in mind some of the people "excited" were fine with the 56-49 scores we got in the no-defense version of the game we had for 4 months.

my father said never trust the desperate. a man with a gun to his head will tell you anything. it's wait and see for most of us, but the fact that these BIG hits look cosmetic isn't a good sign.

Good stuff but im not 100% on the bandwagon. Everything looks stunning. The graphics and what not but I need to be sure Franchise Mode is legit this year.

Since the suction blocking is gone I think this is a very positive sign that Sacks won't be so hard to get at times. Which I'm a fan of
