The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

I found that list somewhere & tried to copy/paste it. Kept getting 'can't save' message. I am only one on this computer. So I'm the 'administrator'. Any ideas on why it won't save?

Am i missing something?
I agree! Where in the the heck are we supposed to copy & paste the list from the APFAttributes file? Inside the actual editor itself? It seems confusing to use really but I've never used Finn's editor of any kind before either.

Re: FlyingFinn Releases All-Pro Football 2K8 Editor
Someone mentioned this earlier and never got an answer so I will repeat the question. When I load a roster into finn's editor I get a list of all the players on the file but it won't let me use the arrows to sort by teams. Anybody know a work around?

(1) Build your team on 360 with the CAPs, generics, playbook, etc you want.
(2) Transfer the team from 360 to PC
(3) Now click on last name drop down and find your 1st CAP's (or generics) last name, edit, repeat
(4) Save, sign and transfer from PC to 360

Thanks for the info. So is there a way to know which team each player is on so if I was trying to edit the computer controlled teams, using finn's editor, I could set up their rosters too?
Re: FlyingFinn Releases All-Pro Football 2K8 Editor
It was a Vista issue. Figured it out. Had to log on as an administrator. Which is harder than it appears on Vista. For anyone else having problems with this on Vista. I'll leave instructions which worked for me.
Spoiler
Enable the Administrator Account
Open the command prompt with Administrative privileges by opening the Start Menu, and typing cmd in the search box, and then press Ctrl+Shift+Enter or click the Start orb, All Programs, Accessories, right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
Type the following in the command prompt and press Enter after:
net user administrator /active:yes

Restart your computer and logon as Administrator
Disable the Administrative Account
To disable the Administrative account run the Net User command demonstrated above while logged on an account with administrative privileges but not as the Administrator account and replace yes with no.
