Hasn't the Coaching thing in the main menu always been in past Madden games?

Pretty sure that's just where Custom Playbooks, Gameplanning, Audibles and all that good stuff will be under.

Liking the menu screen BTW. I didn't really like Madden 11's.

That's what i'm thinking, i don't think coaching is anything new, its in like every sports game. If it was a game mode it would be under games modes

Yeah, coaching probably takes care of gameplay and maybe even depth charts, while the nfl roster maybe free agents and trades and create a player and stuff. The main Menu looks good too me.

Since Ea stated they weren't gonna use physical manuals anymore, hopefully their in game manual is much more in depth.

I wish there were more options on the main menu...I don't know, it just looks empty. Would have preferred a layout that gave less blank space on the TV.

My guess is the background transitions to different stadium/dome interiors while the Hillis pic remains static.

Love it. Looks like last gen's menus, which were way better IMO. I don't know why newer more powerful machines automatically meant obnoxious "futuristic" menus, lol.

What happend to the days where you could pick your favorite team to be the background of the menu? Just wondering... Looks good anyways.
