Re: Madden NFL 12 Video - Peyton Hillis Goes Beast Mode
Still looks entirely lifeless after a touchdown (or any play really). Everyone just meanders while the guy that scored does the same reactions we have seen for years.
They really need to add in some animated sidelines. APF 2K8 did this really well, and its been 5 years.
Come one EA, go all in for once.GT: Event Horizon 0Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Video - Peyton Hillis Goes Beast Mode
really enjoyed this video and seeing that they got his size right. In Madden 11, I traded to pick HIllis up, and then got rid of him after he had the appearance of a 180 lb lethargic cornerback.
On another note, Brown's backfield should be nasty this year. Hillis carrying the rock, and Owen Marecic as his full back. That is going to be one scary combination.Virginia Tech Hokies NCAA 2011 Dynasty Thread :

Exaggerate what Hillis did last season? Did you watch Browns games last year? I am not sure if I ever saw a guy earn each and every yard like Hillis did last year.Comment

I don't think he's boring at all. I love a back who delivers more hits than he receives.Last edited by adembroski; 05-04-2011, 11:00 AM.There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

Something this video really impresses me with is the 3D grass. The players' feet interacting with the ground looks softer and more blended. It adds a very natural look.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

I don't know....I like the guy and the way he runs but I can't help but wonder if he was a flash in the pan. Also guys that take lots of hits usually don't last that long so even if he gets another nice year or two I'd be surprised to see him have a nice long career."I'd rather lose to the cpu with realistic stats than win with ridiculous stats."

I love the way Hillis runs and he can carry a Browns team to a few extra wins, but I don't think he'll last long. Thats not a bad thing though, in my opinion. When someone runs and plays as hard as him, I am okay with him having an early(ier) retirement than the average running back.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

since you guys look at real videos and stuff, i hope you guys can look more deeply into how players run and hopefully you guys at madden and the other guys at ncaa can tune up the running animations as well as the sliding/floating, backpeddaling, sidestepping, acceleration, and deceleration before release... this i think can give a better feel as well as better visuals...everything else is looking good so far.Comment
