I wish SCEA was going to patch this bug as soon as possible because it would definitely upgrade the atmosphere and realism in MLB 11. Who agrees with me?

Who else thinks that booing the home team pitcher after Ks kills the atmosphere?
As for myself, i am annoyed about that bug when the home team pitcher gets booed by his own crowd after throwing a strike. It just kills the atmosphere because it's just plain paradoxical and it happens a lot during a game.

Re: Who else thinks that booing the home team pitcher after Ks kills the atmosphere?
I haven't seen that. I have heard boos when batting and a close pitch was called a strike, or when pitching and a close pitch was called a ball, but all of that was when I was at home, never on the road.
If you are really seeing this, you probably need to post this in the bug fixes thread, but maybe double-check which team is home when you hear the booing?
Anyway, at least in RTTS, I've never seen this, as batter or pitcher. -

Yeah I can't say I've seen this one. Might wanna post that in the bugs thread, like the poster above me said. Figured I'd toss in another vote to "Haven't seen that one"Comment

Maybe it's not a bug....depending what time, like brewers and cubs. A lot of cub fans come to Miller Park to watch the games. I haven't heard the home crowd boo the home team pitcher... maybe they did, I could be wrong.

I've noticed this sometimes. I think it might be for the umpire. I hope that's what it is, because when at home the crowd sometimes boo's like I just walked a run in when I throw a pitch for a ball. This happens usually in the first couple of innings.Comment

This happens to me as well, and I agree that it really does take away from the game. Hopefully this can be fixed. Also I really wish this glitch is fixed: When a pitcher has the 3/4 sleeve option and it looks all glitchy and messed-up. If you don't know what I am talking about just pitch with say Jon Lester or Edinson Volquez and you will see.Go Phillies!Comment

Yeah I agree, the crowd is really off, they boo and cheer at inappropriate times, and it's not realistic at all. I try to just tune it out but it would definitely be nice to see this addressed next year or in a patch.Comment

This happens all of the time. If you haven't heard it then you have very selective hearing which is a really good thing. It's quite annoying but I just play through it. It's just why would any home fan boo an ump for calling a strike that is a border line strike or ball. Just kind of annoying.NHL-Minnesota Wild

Re: Who else thinks that booing the home team pitcher after Ks kills the atmosphere?
Yeah, Ive had both things happen in my franchise. Most recently they were chanting "Beat LA" in a home series with the Cubs but Im pretty sure that its happened in the past against multiple teams, makes no sense to me at all.Comment

Iffy thing to say after that Giants fan was beaten so brutally.Comment

I agree. I've had this happen a good amount of times and it's never a good experience.Comment

I've noticed this, but I always figured it was a delayed response to the player's name being announced.Comment
