Did anybody see the revo speed quarteback helmet that Taylor Martinez wears?

I'm 99% sure it's not in the game. I've kept an eye out for it in screens/videos and still have yet to see it. We'll just have to use the robot version, I guess.

Game looks good, but I was a little disappointed that the cut scenes between plays and after scores were EXACTLY the same as last year. Where's the emotion? I would like to see teams give all kinds of high fives and huddle around the guy that scores a touchdown - needs some team celebrations or something...

Saw that same kick meter is in, which kind of stinks. It needs to be harder to kick in the game without messing with the sliders. FGs from 40 yards are not automatic.

At 7:55 of that video you can see FSU run a play, I believe from Ace-Bunch, that has the slot WR run that infamous skinny post we all know and love, the route that the devs themselves HIGHLIGHTED in the zone defense video as one route that isn't automatic anymore, and hits it right on top of the UF linebacker. Ugh what? Thought that play wasn't supposed to be money this time around?

I realize its just one play in the video, but the guy covered it but just stared as the ball whizzed by.

I'd imagine UFs LBs are pretty athletic....

like 1/2 of the quarterbacks in college football will be wearing this mask, including matt barkley (usc). EA come on..., how'd u forget the most popular revo speed mask in the game?!?!

Thats what I thought also. A lot of the scenes were exactly like last year. Time will tell, but im not getting my hopes up.

I can't argue with you guys, in that area it does look exactly the same. But, in fairness, does it really matter if the gameplay itself is much more realistic?

Oddly enough, the only thing that has me bummed about that video was the presentation. Gameplay is hard to judge from a video but it does look improved at least as far as the tackling is concerned. Won't be able to truly judge it until it is in our hands though.

I dug the entrances and the end of quarter replays. I think they really add to the presentation but the rest of it really does look like '11' to me, TBH. I was really hoping that they would have incorporated the pre and post play broadcast cameras that Madden seems to be getting (see the vick entering the huddle video). The replays also seem to be the same up close replays from last year (with a little slow-mo added). Again was hoping for broadcast camera replays. I am going to stay optimistic for now though because I heard them mention that there will be new cameras that they couldn't talk about at the moment. Really hoping that is what they are alluding to.

I am just afraid that after a few Madden videos are released and we see these cameras in action that it will take away from what NCAA is offering. Maybe I will stay away from everything Madden until it is released that way I won't have to think about those juicy broadcast cams .

This is what killed my buzz also. Seeing that Madden got an in game presentation upgrade(which the jury is still out on) it was disappointing not seeing NCAA get an in game upgrade. Especially since Ben was touting about how games look exactly like an ESPN broadcast.

The in game presentation just comes off amateurish and a little lazy in my opinion. The animations don't help either, but it's not like I really expected them to be any better.

I enjoyed 11, but not enough to get this year's edition on day one. I'll have to see how the demo makes me feel.

After watching the fsu/uf game i noticed some things:

1. Zone defense is defiantly improved as advertised

2. Dreads are to long. The dread length of the majority of players that have them are half the size that they have them in the game. And I also wonder if the place dreads on players at random because #23 for fsu which is chris thompson does not have dreads irl. which leads me to #3

3. There will have to be a lot of equipment/appearance edits based off this video. If most of the players on this video equipment/appearances are not right im sure most other players on other teams will be screwed up also. I know some people will say that dont matter but just for the same reason most of us like rosters with names, i like equipment to be right. It adds realism to the game. I hope someone gets the game early and is able to do these things. I know how hard it is and I appreciate anyone who has done it and will do it for ncaa 12.

4. I did see some animations from ncaa 11. But hopefully they have added enough so that it dont feel like you are playing 11 still.

5. The field looked nice but the video quality was not that good so i couldnt see the 3d grass

There was no sound so i was not able to hear the crowd or commentators. and also because of the video quality i wasnt able to see other little small details

Does anyone know where the other gameplay video is at? It wont play on ign website. It just keep saying video not found or something like that

Not going to lie, I caught the vid mid-way thru and thought it was NCAA 11 at first glance. The ESPN additions/new equipment/tackling is nice, but I honestly didn't see a dramatic difference that you'd expect to see from one year to the next.

Edit: I'm still pretty excited for 12, but the stream was a little underwhelming. Can't wait for dynasty news

I think he did it to take our attention off of the line play.
