The biggest issue to me is that everything else looks AMAZING. The lighting, the players...everything looks so good that it makes the dreads stand out so much for looking soooooo bad.

The CPU as Florida does a pretty good job on offense. The RB makes good decisions as does the QB. Considering its on default All-American setting that should be a good sign

Something that I noticed that takes away from the game a little is the commentary is not live. What I mean by that is, on the 2nd video Kirk was talking about Ok State's gameplan during a play which a huge run happened, he just kept rambling about Ok State's gameplan. In games like 2k the announcers would cut in right there once he broke free (Ex: NBA 2k11 convo and then dunk happens, convo stops for reaction to dunk). Now I've heard that the crowd will react to plays like this better but if the announcers are talking about something else during the play that will take from the game.

Now on that same note I'm not saying they should stop talking during every play. A lot of times during football games the announcers will discuss a topic and kind of skip commentating on some plays if its not a big gain. Especially if the game is out of hand. Maybe I am the only one that pays attention to that kind of stuff, idk.

Lets look at the big picture here. The game as a whole is getting a major upgrade. I swear if it's not one thing it's another. I am skeptical as most, but this year has some major changes in the right direction, and I will wait to pass judgment until I get my hands on the final project. But getting upset over the dreads is really starting to sound like nit picking.

I miss the live feed but I was hoping someone asked about penalties and if they were address this year in NCAA 12.

I half agree. Some people make it too big a deal but I think everyone will agree that the dreads look awful. There are not very many players in the NCAA that have dreads that long. But the issue has been addressed now, he said they are going to add more options next year. If it was up to me I would rather them be out of the game because I already know there are going to be too many players with them and I'll have to edit the rosters.

Spark is right. It's not that the dreads are gamebreaking, or really even a big deal, but, its been hyped as a feature, and now upon first review, it looks seriously atrocious. Nobody can be blamed for pointing this out

Just had to post this and then I will try my best to shut up about the dreads b/c honestly the majority of this game looks amazing and they did a TON of things right this year and made a lot of great improvements.



Can't wait to hear about the dynasty info for NCAA later this month. I also find myself strangely interested in the info that Madden will be releasing on Monday.

If EA isn't going to do something right then why put the dreads in? They look horrible. They aren't even connected to the head.
