Good God those dreads are atrocious. Have they ever seen a college football player w/ dreads that long? No one asked for Polamalu. It would be fine if they only added one length, if it were a length of dreads that ONE player in college football actually has... Seriously... Show me ONE player in CFB w/ dreads that long...

I'm a huge gameplay guy, and couldn't give a crap about presentation if the gameplay was good, but if you are going to hype something as a NEW FEATURE, then make sure it doesn't look like dog turds first.

Who looked at that at EA and thought "Man, these look great!" ?

I thought it looked pretty good. overall it looked more fluid to me and well graphically this game is amazing! that said presentation wise it was a tad disappointing and makes me wonder if NCAA is just getting the graphical update and better intros while madden gets better in-game(broadcast like multiple camera) presentation and only slightly better visuals, making both games different enough to warrant two purchases....still it looks very impressive. Final note IGN should never host one of these things ever again the mizzou guy was freakin annoying

That's what happens when you test a sports game with an RPG player. Dude probably never plays sports games at all. Unfortunately, Mr. Mizzouri is who they are trying to market this too. They already know us hardcore players are going to buy it.

Just had to post this and then I will try my best to shut up about the dreads b/c honestly the majority of this game looks amazing and they did a TON of things right this year and made a lot of great improvements.



Can't wait to hear about the dynasty info for NCAA later this month. I also find myself strangely interested in the info that Madden will be releasing on Monday.

I hear what you are saying and yeah zoomed in and pointed out like that it does look bad. But honestly, other than there being just the one length, when I watched the entrance in real time and the players moving on the field, I didn't really see the detachment or notice how bad they are. For me, it's not that big of a deal. Sure, it could be a lot better and should be a lot better. However, while I'm playing I'll probably just notice "hey that guy has long hair" and not get distracted by the fact that they are attached to his neck or the bottom of his helmet. It just won't be that noticeable to me during gameplay. But again, I will concede that they do look bad in that pic and next year there needs to be all manner of long hair, style and length-wise.

meh. I expected that the dreads would be coming from the bottom of the helmet on the player models. they don't have individual heads on the player models only the helmets, so that's expected, and from the gameplay camera i won't notice. So it doesn't bother me that much.

Everything else looks pretty good IMO(except for the style of the guys controlling the game. ugh). Looks like i'll be going with a gamestop pre-order for the PC's

i liked in the UF/FSU game at one point Jeff Demps got hit head on and tried to keep his legs moving and the LB forced him backwards.

As long as it plays good i can care less about the weird looking dreads. They are not gonna be on every player. Looking forward to this game

I was not impressed at all, looked like NCAA Football 10 with some minor improvements. I can honestly say we have yet to have a next-gen football game, Break Breaker is the closes to "next-gen" we have. I'm done with NCAA Football and Madden this gen, maybe next gen, and hopefully EA Sports is not the only company making football games then. It's just sad to see 6+ years of football video gaming down the drain.

lmao...guys drop the dreads. everyone was crab assin' about DREADS!?! DREADS!?! When they announced it. Now everyone is saying... ONLY 1 DREAD LENGTH!?!? Just drop it or EA will put 20 different dread lengths in there next year and so oh yeah...this is a great new feature.

The crowds getting smaller/larger as the season goes on is a VERY nice touch!

Invite says 5-8 PM, I'm assuming that is Eastern time b/c that is the standard and Tiburon is in Orlando.

I started a thread for OS posters to submit questions for those of us who will be watching to ask the developers. I'll do my best to try and press the questions that are on your guys minds.
