    Bridesmaids-Critics Love It

A super surprising 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a healthy 137 reviews.

A skim of some of the reviews give Kristen Wiig particularly high marks.

One critic on TV here in Canada reviewed it last night and he said while it might look like "the hangover" for women it's really not. He says that the movie surprisingly has some heart to it but it's definitely not a movie to take your mother too. He also said despite the title and the theme of the movie this is one flick that guys would enjoy watching with their Significant Other.

Critics that enjoyed other Apatow produced comedies have said they think this one is his best yet.

Bold statement to make. I'm not really a fan of Wiig when she acts goofy (the scene of her dancing as she's pulled over makes me cringe) but I do like the female cast and the concept.

haha nice Jon Hamm is in it. Man all the work the Bridesmaids have to do. Best man was easy, all you need is Vegas and Vegas does the rest.

The part of the trailer that made me cringe was when the fat girl said, "I want to apologize, but I'm not sure what end that came out of". That bathroom humor seems unnecessary and cringe-worthy. Subsequent trailers I've seen at the theater have taken that line out.

There is lots of that type of humor in the movie, which I was surprised about.

Went to see it last night with the wife, overall it was pretty good. A little bit long and drawn out, but had a lot of funny parts to it. The wife loved it so overall a successful trip to the movies.

The clip that showed on Conan where that fat girl (I assume it's the same since I doubt the movie has two fat girls in the cast) tries to get the guy into the airplane bathroom made me laugh and convinced me I would enjoy the film.

Upsetting to hear there's a lot of bathroom humor in it though.

I guess that's why it's not a good movie to take the mother to!

Once again I hear the "long and drawn out" complaint. Seems like Apatow is not the best at editing his flicks.

And she's pretty funny in Mike & Molly, imo of course. The girlfriend wants to see this so Im sure we will at some point, looks decent enough.

Actually I know her name. I was just laughing because everyone refer to her as the fat girl. I am sure she is use to it, but still I found it pretty funny.

I seen a clip of Jon Hamm in it on Conan that was hilarious. The rest of the movie, I'm not sure. That's just judging from commercials.
