NCAA Football 12 Demo Outlined.

EA Sports held a developer chat yesterday and The Gaming Tailgate noted some of the news to come out of that with discussion having taken place regarding the upcoming demo for NCAA Football 12. There will be two separate matchups to choose from and five Nike Pro Combat uniforms available to unlock through play. The structure would be similar to last year which instead had four matchups and offered all of the Pro Combat uniforms.

The demo for the two previous iterations arrived mid-June and last year it was the day before E3 opened. This time around the convention takes place earlier in the month with the demo said to follow. Tuesday June 14th or 21st would then be the two dates most likely for the demo to fall on.

Pro combats are unlocked through it? I am guessing the 4 teams will probably be pro combat teams. I am thinking a Miami and OSU repeat..

They will pick teams that showcase the new player entrances, and that wear pro combat unis.

Also lol at some pc unis being unlocked through the demo and some being a preorder bonus. Wonder what the difference between the two sets is. Not going to go there again though.

on the stream, I believe they said the teams would not be one of the teams' pro combat you can get in the gamestop pre-order. so that mean it wont be Boise State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, TCU, And Virginia Tech in the demo.

I don't remember the other teams to be honest as I don't really pay attention to those special pro-combat uniforms.

My guesses would be Florida, Florida State (Chief Osceola), Miami, Bama and....

well there is only 2 match-ups. "if" they are all PC, Miami/West Virginia, and Florida/Alabama with Oregon State being unlock when you "share" the demo?

I really don't remember who had the special PCs last year though.

I stand by this. I think these are the matchups that make the most sense for the demo, given the missing PC teams from the preorder bonuses.

Oregon vs Oregon State, and Florida vs Florida State seem the most likely to me.

Oregon vs Oregon State, and Florida vs Florida State seem the most likely to me.

I agree.
Last year, They had 4 matchups to show the new playstyles.
I think this year they will have rivalrys and teams that have popular entrances.
I think the Definite ones are Oregon and Florida State.

Guys I dont think Florida St will be in demo unless just for entrance... On the ustream yesterday they said half of demo will be pro combat unis and the other half will be from pre order at Gamestop... Florida State didnt have pro combats from last year they had them in 2009....

Your probably right...My guess would be that the first screenshots we saw of Miami and Florida is going to be one of the two matchups..
