    Jet Sweep Custom Playbook....(idea)

What do you guys think? Are there enough plays to build a mini playbook with it? Please discuss!

it'd be worth a look at, theres enough fakes and play action off it that it'd make a varied enough playbook. Jet Sweep isn't the most effective play out there, though, so making that your base play may not be a good idea.

Ya, I figured that. I am was thinking of putting plays that works base off the jet sweep. I would think alot of hot routing/meshing plays to play off each other would help along this playbook very well.

I'm sure with the success of Auburn this year running that "inverted veer" concept with the RB going in lateral motion, Jet-Sweep-esque, that they will add a few more plays oriented around this. I really enjoy the schemes that the Jet-Sweep uses but it's a rarity in D-1 college football solely because everybody is so fast at that level.

You could maybe add some self created motion passes or some of the RnS plays with motion to flow with the playbook.

Not true. This concept is used by almost every spread team. It's a concept that comes from the Wing-T ala Georgia Tech and Navy. A lot of spread teams like Urban Meyers Florida teams were basically a modern Wing T w/ plenty of jet motion.

Well if there's less suction blocking and tackling, we'll see if the Jet Sweep can be effective. Some Jet Sweeps in this game are money while some (like the wildcat) aren't very good. Jet Sweep out of "Wild Dog Spread" in Mississippi State's playbook is pretty awesome.

I could imagining implementing something like this into a dynasty a few years in and putting speed HB's as my slot WR's. It'd be interesting to run an offense that relies almost entirely on lateral running.

If you can run a reverse of the jet or run the jet sweep pass from the wildcat in regular formations it would be amazing
