Wait, doesn't NCAA have progressive lighting? Pretty sure they do. Also, NCAA isn't allowed to release Dynasty/RTG info until monday.

NCCA is going to HDR lighting.

I'm not counting NCAA out yet, they still have their own announcements to make... but I am expecting this to the a rare year where Madden's franchise is better then NCAA's dynasty. Some of the features that Madden is introducing is simply way to much to expect NCAA to match, this year atleast... they always do that with new features... just one of them gets them one year, then if possible, they integrate them into the other title in future releases.

yes ncaa does have it < but im looking for maddens version of it < where it changes during the course of the game not like ncaa where it changes after qrts. also i live in tx which is central time zone and know for a fact that opening kickoffs in november are at night not when the sun is going down> maddens version this yrs takes winter into effect< so during those months it gets darker and darker earlier. thats all.

Judging from what I saw from Madden today, I'm convinced that this could finally be that fabled year where next-gen football games become the ultimate experience.
Madden looks unbelievable... I have my fingers crossed that NCAA makes my jaw drop here in the next few weeks.

ehh...I think progressive lighting is okay for the most part. Only thing they need to fix is "lighting associated with time". What I mean by that is if there is an 8pm kickoff, it needs to be night. Kind of like what you said. And if it is a 6pm kickoff, then it needs to be close to night....not some 3:30 looking kickoff. It only works correctly for teams in the eastern timezone on the game.

I'm hoping that NCAA does. Madden has turned into a definite purchase for me. NCAA is also a definite purchase, but I may not be doing my normal midnight release routine this year.

i agree that is what they need to fix< i love progressive lighting but my biggest complaint about it is during the months of nov thru jan its not realistic. like i said in my other post, i hate it when i play in the national champ game in the rose bowl and its a day game when we all know that the opening kickoff is at night. just do what madden is doing this yr and take the winter months into effect where it gets darker sooner.

This was how it was when MAdden dropped the teaser and the pics. People were starting to worry. Then after the blog people was extremely excited. I think there was a thread like this "Am I the only one not excited about NCAA 12" thread. Once info started dropping that thread and threads like it disappear.
If you think about it, NCAA has always been tight-lipped when it came to dropping info. Madden loves to market itself. NCAA still has stuff to drop. What causes the threads are that, unlike MAdden, NCAA didnt have a schedule of when info will drop. SO people worry when they see MAdden drop info and dont see any for NCAA

also agree with you about this so far. all i ask for yr after yr is a true acc clock like madden and a better progressive lighting where it changes during the game not after qrts or haltime like ncaa 10 did. thats not real.

Yeah, assuming they've been holding out on us this long so they can reveal some awesome dynasty features, like a coaching carousel. But if they end up releasing some crappy info, it'll blow up even worse.

Eh, Madden had a lot of catching up to do FM wise. NCAA was/is already established in that area.

I wouldn't worry about the news on the pro game.

If they say CC on the 23rd I will probably be so overly excited.

On 2nd thought....I skipped out on Madden last year, because 2010 I played maybe 2 games and traded it in....I just couldn't get back into Madden, but this year I may buy it after it's been out a few months. But NCAA is always a Midnight sell and a take a vacation day at work. Just annual routine no matter what kinda new features.

I dont know about you guys......
