I can understand people's patience wearing thin, but Josh told the community FM wasn't going to be overhauled in one cycle or everything thrown in but the kitchen sink, he didn't even put a time frame on it. So, overall, I feel the overall majority like what is being added currently, and for those that patience wear thin, there's always the future like you said.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Franchise Mode in Madden 12
i will say this. i hope all these features works as advertised. Because it happened before that a game is full of "new inovate feature" but at the end of the day none worked correctly or worked at all.
Example, Player roles..
Injury prone and then he never get injured.
Salary cap with a lot of room to sign anyone..
you get my point.
Hope they tweak and tune all this correctly to really see the result of all these features.
Also let`s not forget that the In game game play and Sim stats match. Otherwise it will ruin the franchise before starting

Re: Franchise Blog by Josh Looman
I am hoping that you can edit everything including created or drafted players facial profiles, weight, height, build gear etc... that would remedy the issue.
Weather;
Why not just give the user the ability to choose the weather or use live weather mode like in single game mode.
I didn't buy madden last year but it's looking very promising... I want to hear more about half time show, end game shows, interviews, game recap, and weekly recap and match ups. Let go all the way EA after so long we deserve it.
Madden 12 is looking real good!Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Franchise Mode in Madden 12
you could always step away from football gaming for a few yearswhat can i say -- my patience has run out waiting for this game to catch up over the last 5 or 6 years. some are acting as though this is the first or second year on this gen when in reality they've had plenty of time to get this sort of thing properly addressed. i do appreciate that they've finally started to try and make a game again. but i cannot forget the years that they've phoned it in.
i have been known to be hard on this franchise. so in that light, i will not give them full credit until they complete a full game. i'd like to think that viewpoints such as mine have helped get this series going in the right direction. but in reality, it's because they've been getting sorely shown up by other players in the sports market. either way, i will eventually benefit.
at some point, you actually have a choice....either accept what's for dinner or go to bed without dinner tonight
the choice IS YOURS padawanBummed that you're not on my ignore list yet?.....Don't worry, I'm sure you will be very soon.Comment

You know what? This really sucks. I am not happy at all. I was expecting this sooner. come on EA. I can't believe EA has the audacity to make us wait till August 30th to play this awesome franchise mode.

Alright, cool, I'd have to expect they try to generate more to have at least 10 classes worth, to prevent people with the same picture on a team as much as possible.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Franchise Mode in Madden 12
Everything looks great but I have one question. Now that dynamic player performance has been added will players who are on a cold streak or having a bad game be pulled from a game and have a back up fill in? Also if a player is on a hot streak will he move up and get a chance to start? Be cool to see a young player take over for a struggling veteran mid season and tear it up. I did noticed that position battles was not listed, I'm hoping that dynamic player performance will factor in to who starts.Last edited by JayD; 05-16-2011, 08:06 PM.Comment

Good question. Say for instance, the QB has a cold streak and his rating drops 10 points to a 70 overall and the back up is a 75. Will the CPU pull the starter and put in the back up?Everything looks great but I have one question. Also, do you think there will be a mass rating editor? For example, can you can raise all player's speed by 5 points or 10%, something like that?Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Franchise Mode in Madden 12
Player Progression!!!! If I draft a QB and sit him for 3 yrs, how does he progress under the new rules?
Back-up OL (especially young players) how do they progress if they don't play?
Practice Squads didn't make it in? Not complaining, just asking to clarify!!!
Undrafted Free Agent Period after the Draft?Last edited by Step2001; 05-16-2011, 08:19 PM.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Franchise Mode in Madden 12
I hope that it's not that touchy. The vast majority of teams will at least give their starter a couple of games to work things out, and apparently the "cold streaks" only last a few weeks. I'd love to see teams switch starters occasionally, but it shouldn't be that frequent.Good question. Well, I know what you mean. But I hope if a QB is throwing 3-4 picks a few games in a row, I hope they pull him you know.I hope that it's not that touchy. i agree with you I just think it would be cool to see a starter get yanked mid way through the game if he is just having a terrible game.I hope that it's not that touchy.
