True to Sam Bradford - He looked like someone who stuck their mouth in the pie hole of a cardboard cutout. Lol...
Ahem, this is great news. I think I want to get deeper into my franchise, this year, for once. I miss the owner mode, tho...a lil bit....just a little bit....un poquito...Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....Comment

Head Coach 09 was pretty boring too. The backgrounds were nice, but that's about it.

I agree that Madden 12's tabs look boring, but I really like the team matchup graphic with the stadium behind it.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Video - Virtual Playbook Franchise Mode
Ok, the part about preseason... Looman made it sound like another team might grab a player you cut, just like real life... Is that really going to occur? In the past the waiver wire was a complete joke, the only time the CPU would ever sign someone who was cut from another team was when they had to do an injury signing. Basically, once they had their roster set before the first pre season game, is what they stuck with even if there were better players available.College Football

Re: Madden NFL 12 Video - Virtual Playbook Franchise Mode
I think he gets the 89 due to his role as a leader for what is a very young and inexperienced defense. he probably has the skills of an 82-85 overall player (as he should) with a major boost due to awareness. However, I do agree that he should be B potential because as an every day eagles fan, what you see is definitely what you get from him. Sometimes thats good. Sometimes it makes you want to throw something.
Back on topic: Im glad that there will be more player portraits. But, since EA is really going all out with fan request for franchise mode, I think I should start a petition to bring back the old gen interface. The current hub bores me and it does the same for a few others i see. I was dying to see a 2011 version of the office and the newspaper.Dear Madden,
The little things matter. . what are the little things you say?. . . Idk. . surprise me ;-)

Thanks for bringing back trading future draft picks, alot of this stuff they say are new was in the PS2/Xbox version back in the days.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Video - Virtual Playbook Franchise Mode
I dont recall ever being able to trade future draft picks in any Madden ever. Could be wrong, but none I ever played. 2K5 you could, but not Madden.
And the things they are pimping as new is new. They did admit player roles was from last gen Maddens.Comment

Hopefully player ratings wont be such a big complaint as it usually is because of the dynamic progression where a guy can be rated high one week and lower the next.
I agree with what others said about the layout. I just don't understand why these companies but so little effort into getting a good layout for their menus. Menus need to be quick so you can go from one thing to another. For MLB the Show & NBA 2k i can get from the main menu to a game in my franchise in a minute. For NCAA 11 the menus were SOOOOOOOOO slow. NBA 2k & The Show it was also quick to edit players, scroll through those menus, etc. I can't speak for how Madden was last year because i didn't buy it but again NCAA was awful.
Then comes the layout. We need something bright not dark, something that appeals to the eyes not something boring, something thats easy to navigate through. I really liked when they had that radio show because it was a nice filler in between when youre doing the non gameplay stuff. It also represented how in real life games are played on Sundays and then Mon-Fri people listen to talk radio and talk about what just happened and what is upcoming.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Video - Virtual Playbook Franchise Mode
I got to thank the guys from EA for this video. I loved it and it was good. As a few guys have said the tab menu does look a little plain and simple. It really does need a little more work done to it to make it look more fun to use and play with. But it is still early and they could still be working on it. But overall franchise mode is looking awsome so far.Comment

agreed, and i actually really liked the menu navigation in m10 & m11, they were both pretty similar and easily accessible for the most part. my only complaint was scrolling through all the arbitrary stats during a league draft but it wasn't nothing too inconvenient.I agree with what others said about the layout. i don't understand the reason for the change, and granted its just my personal opinion but i do not like the look and organization of the menus. too late to change anything now, so it looks like i'm stuck with that damn paint spatter not just for the cover...but now behind every player face and menu title. it just doesn't say professional football to me...a good effort for a corporate slide show but i can't relate it to madden. i just hope everything is at least easy to navigate.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 12 Video - Virtual Playbook Franchise Mode
I'm guessing that there will be a full on media blitz next month at E3.
Monday June 6th (all PT)
Microsoft – 10am
EA – 12:30
Ubisoft – 2:30
Sony – 5pm
While EA has games like Battlefield and Mass Effect, I'm sure they'll show some Madden.Comment
