    Newer ps3's get ylod?

Hi, I've repaired my 3 year old Ps3 twice now because of ylod and I couldn't afford to buy another. Now I can and I hear that the newer versions don't get ylod.

Is this true or false? Keep repairing my old one?

    Thanks, everyone!

It's false. The slims can still get the YLOD. It's just much less likely. They use less energy to operate and they run cooler. It's still an electronic device though and things can break.
