Didn't see another thread for this so I guess I'll bump it?

Anyway, I'm not one to complain about CPU trade logic. I try REALLY hard not to complain about it. Anyway, this one CPU trade has left me befuddled:

Phillies: Shane Victorino and Raul Ibanez
Rockies: Jason Hammel and Matt Belisle

The Phillies really seem to be dumb lol. One time they offered me Domonic Brown and Ryan Howard for Chase Headley, and Ryan Ludwick.

I haven't made any trades yet, I'm still early in the year, so I kinda wanna see if I can get through my slumps before I start blowing up my roster in the 2nd week of the season.

The only move I've made is signing free agent Elmer Dessens to give my bullpen a little bit of depth.

I'm sure by the time all is said and done, however, I won't end with the same roster I started with. I have too many weaknesses in my lineup.

I would like to hear some thoughts on this trade. I'm using the 2k11's default rosters. I like to make my mark on the team before I start spring training.

Rangers (me):

C Taylor Teagarden
1B Chris Davis
RP Darren Oliver

for

Athletics (AI)

C Kurt Suziki

It improved the Athletics bullpen (Darren Oliver). They also got a decent power hitter who still has room for improvement (Chris Davis). The upside for me is that I now have one of the top catchers in the game. Is this a lop sided trade in my favor?

I was thinking about also trading them C Yorvit Torealba for a low rated, high paid guy in a position they have a log jam. What does everyone think?

I posted ^ 2k11 default roster for purposes of creating my own team prior to Spring Training, hence no Mike Napoli.

Well in my astros franchise. The only move I have made so far was signing jamie moyer. He took the place of J.A happ in my rotation cuz he was hurt. So far moyer is 3-0 with a sub 2.00 era.

I am trying to find a good trade for carlos lee. He isn't playing to good and he has a huge contract. Any suggestions on a good trade for lee

It all depends on if you want power, speed, contact, or a little of everything.

I'm 3 games in now with the Padres lineup, except I got Jed Lowrie 84 Ovr. instead of Bartlett. Ive scored 5 runs in 3 games against the cards with no extra base hits lol.

I am using the Mariners and I am just finishing the 1st week of may. Currently in last place, due to my pitching staff outside of King Felix and Pineda. I don't score enough runs when Felix or Pineda are on the mound. So far the only trades I made are Michael Sanders for Ben Revere, Mauricio Robles and Erik Bedard for Prince Fielder and George Kottaras and Milton Bradley for Ferando Abad ( who is currently in triple a)

I might make another trade for another SP to anchor the back end of the rotation. If my 3,4 and 5 starters don't pick up the pace. I will finish last place.

I'm considering a trade for Big Papi.

I was messing around with the trade finder, and I noticed the Red Sox offered him up for Aubrey Huff. It's a deal I may have to look into.

Pretty solid trade since you said you don't have Napoli. A big priority for you had to be getting a solid catcher cause Torrealba is just awful. First move I made in the game was getting rid of him.

I have the updated rosters where Jed Lowrie is an 84, and he is a solid *** hitter. Bats 3rd against lefties and righties in my lineup. Unfortunately I am 0-3 because aside from Lowrie my Padres lineup cant hit **** lol.

Not exactly a trade, but i'm in the World Series against Texas with my Brewers right now.
I just realized after this season i will need to resign Fielder, or find another 1st baseman.
Should i let him go and get into the battle for Pujols?
I'm thinking of keeping him. I love Fielder, and he's a solid lefty.
I don't think there's anyone i would trade (Except for maybe some picks and prospects for a solid SS. Boutencourt (spelling?) isn't bad, but jesus he and Weeks like to collect errors at the worst times...)
