Re: First NCAA Football 12 Dynasty Mode Details Revealed

Way too many posts here for me to read everything right now but I'm wondering if conference prestige still can't be changed? Only thing I didn't really see. If I want my conference to have A+ prestige, will I have to put my team into what is currently the SEC? And then conference prestige will not change? Even if I move all SEC or Big Ten teams into the MAC or something?Comment

Re: First NCAA Football 12 Dynasty Mode Details Revealed

I hope they've bumped it up a little bit to where we could have maybe 130 teams... Can't that fit??? I don't really know all the numbers, I'm a player not a programmer...

I LOVE the idea here, but if I have to drop teams... Bye bye Akron, Buffalo, WKU, and other cellar dwellers...I'm in the fight to cure cystic fibrosis, my life depends on it!

Re: First NCAA Football 12 Dynasty Mode Details Revealed

Assuming they fixed zone coverages and toned down the CPU pass rush on play-action from NCAA 11, off the top of my head, these are the fixes/changes I'd like to see in NCAA 12:

 1. User stats. Why they took this out from previous iterations is beyond me.

 2. Historical stats. Would be cool to see year by year records of all teams and yearly bowl results within your dynasty.

 3. Field degradation. I believe there was slight degradation in 11. Would be great to see grass field get chewed up even more and turn in quagmires in heavy rain.

 4. Better-looking crowd. That was the one eyesore in 11. But I wouldn't want it at the expense of graphics.

 5. More alternates/throwbacks: I loved the selection in 11. Let's thrown in a bunch more, and whatever you do, don't take any out.

 6. Better return game. Kickoffs and punts were too difficult to take back. At least have a slider for this.

 7. Penalty sliders that actually work. There were too few penalties, except for clipping, facemask and I think holding.

 8. More frequent kick and punt blocks. I don't recall having experienced any in more than 100 games played. Also PATs were far too automatic.

 9. More mascots. I'm a mascot slappy and liked the additions they made in 11. Now, put in even more.

 10. Stadium-specific fans. They had it in last-gen. Jokers with corn heads in Nebraska, gator heads in Florida, hog heads in Arkansas. The more, the merrier. It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Didn't coaching style used to be a pitch? Maybe they have brought that back as a way to help recruiting logic.Comment

I asked this earlier, but it got buried in the pages...for those that have knowledge of OC and DC for each team, are those in the screenshots real coaches or just randomly generated names for them?Bengals

A coach share to go along with roster share? Very nice. Really looking forward to see how this all plays out. I really hope playbooks carry over with the coaches as they change teams and teams recruit to their play style. That would pretty much be icing on the cake.Bengals

Re: First NCAA Football 12 Dynasty Mode Details Revealed

This is really excellent. I am impressed they've gotten all these changes in. Compared to previous years I wonder if they ever actually did work before.

I'm still wondering about more details, though. How will Teambuilder tie into all of these changes? Can you import as many teams as you like? Can I alter my conference after a season or more? Does this also mean we don't have to replace a school anymore to import a team?

I hated using my teambuilder team in dynasty and a) having to remove a school and b) getting locked into a conference. I would typically choose independent for various reasons, hoping another conference would send my school an invite once I built up the program. Of course that never happened. Does this mean now that even if invites aren't in, I am no longer locked into being independent and can move around conferences?

I'm very excited to hear more about these features! Dynasty improvements are really what I was waiting to hear for!Comment

 Re: Coaching carousel is in!

this is going to be awesome. ncaa it is this year. but no tyrod taylor. My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10 My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10

3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.Comment
