Re: Official NCAA 12 Dynasty Blog
So basically, they posted a blog telling us they will be posting blogs. Sigh. lol.
I just noticed something that will kind of suck. They say we can edit the BCS bowl tie-ins, but what about the other bowl tie ins? So if I make the Mountain West a super conference and make the Big 12 a scrub conference, it will be the Big 12 teams going to the Cotton Bowl instead of the Mountain West super conference teams.
I guess these are things they can build on for the future. But I'm already going to have to re-think the custom conferences I have written down on paper, because the bowl season will be completely broken with the way I have it.
ADD: This blog was disappointing lol. The one thing I do LOVE that he confirmed is that you can change conference alignment after EVERY season. WOOT!
So like right now with Alabama destroying me in the SEC I can ship them off... lolComment

Re: Official NCAA 12 Dynasty Blog
The ability to change conferences at the end of each season is HUGE. Finally will be able to take the teams that are playing really well in the bad conferences and pull them into the bigger ones in online dynasty. That is gonna be wonderful.NCAAF : Oregon Ducks

I completely agree, although I probably will put TCU in the Big East and make the changes that really heppened.
I believe he is asking about non-BCS bowlsTennessee Volunteers

Re: Official NCAA 12 Dynasty Blog
No, you can change any BCS bowl tie-ins to any conference you want. In the Game Informer Dynasty video posted today they showed the Rose Bowl with a Mac vs Sun Belt change.

I might replace a couple Independents with schools that will eventually be in conferences...

With people likely making a ton of changes to conference, they may experience a broken post-season if you are not allowed to edit all bowl tie-ins.Comment

DorianDonP : If you look at the top of those screenshots you can see there are two pages, and the one he is in is "BCS Bowls", so I assume if he tabbed to the page to the left, he would have the rest of the bowls.
Just looks like that is how it works to me.NCAAF : Oregon Ducks

For example. The Capital One Bowl happens every New Years and is between a top SEC team and a top Big 10 team. If I, for instance, made the SEC a crap conference, and put Troy, Tulane, FIU, etc in and put Bama, Georgia, Florida, etc into the ACC, then the Capital One Bowl would still feature SEC vs Big 10. We could see a 6-6 Troy Team playing a New Years Day Bowl against Ohio State, or something like that.Comment

Re: Official NCAA 12 Dynasty Blog
Does anyone know if we still get invites to conferences? I am going to do the real stuff like move TCU next year and everything, but for my cupcake team builder team i would rather get invited than just choosing any conference i want to be in."Friends dont let friends be packer fans"Comment

Re: Official NCAA 12 Dynasty Blog
Hoping I can get a dev to clarify this. Or if not, I'll just wait for the official custom conference blog to clear it up.Last edited by DorianDonP; 05-23-2011, 12:31 PM.Comment

Have you failed to notice inflation within our country? I'm VERY surprised that the game is still $59.99 to be honest.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: Official NCAA 12 Dynasty Blog
You are not reading what I said correctly. I'm talking about non-BCS bowl tie-ins.
I think you should rest assured that the developers have thought about how changing BCS conference bigs would affect the other bowl games and made proper adjustments. I would at least hope they played a couple years of their own dynasty mode to see if the bowl bids were messed up. lolComment
